A new Raw thread now Raw is going 3 hours from next week and it's the 1000th episode
In case you didn't know it's got more episodes than Lassie- Gunsmoke and The Simpsons.

As it is 1000 maybe and Raw are going it maybe talk about the best Raw moments of the past.

On the 1000th what will happen DX are there could we see the return of The New Age Outlaws and X Pac to have a full DX reunion.

The Rock says he will be WWE Champ again and will be there so will Cena win and then The Rock challenge him (Though I can see Cena losing as it won't hurt him to lose than they will have that loss so can say the winner of the MITB has to play it right)

Brock will be there to answer HHH's challenge and it's obvious the answer will be In the words of DB "YES"

TBH With returning legends this could be the best Raw in a long time

Got to agree with you there, it is very bittersweet watching those old clips.

Amazing how good the WWF/E used to be when they had viable competition and had to continuously raise their game.

My favorite is when Foley won the WWF title. I watched it the night it aired an cheered for him as it felt like a real life Rocky moment.

Yep! Eric Bischoff thought he was going to be a genius by giving away the results of the taped Raw on a live Nitro to mock the WWE on their non live telecasts. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Plus the fact the way they said it "Mick Foley is going to win the WWF Championship"
"Yeah that will put asses in seats" so saying that who would ever want to see Mick Foley as champion well it seemed most of their viewers did.

Didn't WCW or more so Eric realise just how loved and respected Mick Foley was and most wrestling fans genuinely did want to see him win the big one

This may sound a bit demented of me but a favorite Raw moment for me is when Kane assaulted HBK, stuck his head in a folding chair, and then jumped on it. It was just so brutal and demonstrated that nobody was safe from The Big Red Machine.

I remember that not too long ago WWE had a thing for the "put their ankle in a folding chair and jumping onto the chair from the top/middle rope gimmick" when a wrestler needed to go off injured for a while.

Anybody got any predictions as to how the title match is going to go tonight? I'm sure The Rock is gonna somehow be involved in that part...I don't think he'll actually participate by making it a triple threat, but how memorable would that be for the 1000th episode?

Personally, any scenario that ends with Punk jobbing after they've JUST NOW started making note of his awesome title run is bullshit.

I can see it going either way
Either Cena loses and becomes the first MITB winner to lose (He's the only one where it would not effect his position on the card)

Or he wins and Cena vs Rock for the WWE Championship is set up for Summerslam

I personally want to see Punk retain but I wouldn't be against Rock getting involved somehow and winning the WWE Title too.
