I'm sad and dismayed at the very idea that someone thinks JTM was better executed then the New Blood.

As am I. For as many flaws as I think TNB has, JTM is just downright terrible & just fucking awful.

Out of the options? Jason Takes Manhattan, without saying. It's general consensus in the thread anyway.

In general? Freddy vs. Jason.

Hey now, this has got me thinking. Really, 7 and 8 are the ultimate poster children in terms of "what could have been." 7 was going to be FvJ initially...but instead we got TNB. Jason Takes Manhattan was going to be exactly what the title promised...instead we got Jason Takes a Cruise to Vancouver. Both disappointments in the end, of course. But, like I've said in other threads, I'll take 8 by a hair. Just an all around more interesting movie and a few better characters.

"Jason Takes Manhattan" out of all of the ones mentioned, because Jason doesn't take the city. He takes a boat trip to NYC and then only kills a few people in Manhattan, which is mostly Vancouver at night. The others pretty much lived up to the title and concept of the film, regardless of how good or bad they are.
