I'm wondering if we're going to get Cena w/ Bret Hart vs Batista w/ Vince McMahon after Raw tonight.
I thought Bret did great with his promo on Raw tonight once he started talking about the stroke and whatnot, but once it came down to the physical altercation part, it really destroyed the illusion that Bret can do much in the ring. After tonight, I'm not so sure he can do much more than have a brief post-match brawl with Vince. Hoping for a full match is hoping for a little too much, but stranger things have happened.

True but the man had a stroke 8 years ago, I wasn't expecting him to throw down like in the old days. But what he gave I applaud him for. I will admit I did get a little nervous when Batista started hitting him considering the screwups he's done to other wrestlers in the past on accident I could have seen him accidently hitting Bret in the head for real. |

Right now I can see 2 possabilities for HBK at WM26
1) HBK vs HHH 2) HBK vs Undertaker with a Carrer vs Streak gimmick (It should be pointed out HBK has been saying for about 2 years now he wants to retire after WM26)

Apparently Bret wants to die in the ring too.

Honestly, if Bret can dig deep, he could have just enough fight left in him for the Chairman and give him the sharpshooter for old times sake.
Also, after what Shawn Michaels did tonight on Raw to Teddy Long, I'd safely assume he won't be a part of Wrestlemania this year... Whether or not the superkick was staged.

HBK is the king of timing his Superkick he knows right down to the millimeter where to hit it from and it's not like it's the 1st time a GM has been attacked.
As for Bret I'm still sure it will be Cena with Bret Hart in his corner vs Batista with Vince in his corner then at the end Bret will hit Vince and put him in the sharpshooter

I also don't think they should do a PPV around it as they already have a TLC PPV so if it really must be moved they should move it to that

possible spoilers involving Bret-Vince Cena RoidZilla and the WWE Championship
Quote:
At 1st thought I thought No way in hell but thinking about it I could see it give Bret one last WWE Championship and let him relinquish it the next night on Raw (setting up a tournament to end at Extreme Rules) therefor letting him leave the way he always wanted to I'm sure Bret would like one last Championship 10 yeras after he thought he would never wrestle again. I'm unsure if it will happen but I wouldn't rule it out

Considering I'm a HUGE Bret Hart fan, I would mark out like a little school girl if Bret left WM26 the new WWE Champion!

Matches updated in 1st post
I knew HBK would have his carrer on the line as for the last 2 years he has said he would retire after WM26 with that been his last match

Damn, if they didn't charge out of the asshole for a Wrestlemania, I'd halfway consider getting it just to see HBK's last match. Of course, we all know it won't be his last one anyway, so it's a wash I guess.

If Bret Hart wins the title at Wrestlemania, I will buy the DVD as a day one purchase. And trust me, I don't buy current wrestling DVDs.

Shit, if I knew for sure it was going to happen and if say WM was only 30 bucks instead of the 50 (or 60?) they're going to charge for it, I would probably watch it on PPV. It'd be worth it to see that and Michaels's possible last match.

Yeah, I would be tempted to drop the old $30 price on the PPV to see Hart win the belt. But, if it didn't happen, I would be so, so fucking pissed.

Yeah, another thing holding me back is that I don't know who half the fuckers working the PPV are now, either.

I sure hope Taker doesn't say, "I'm sorry, I love you," before he Tombstones Michaels.

Yeah, and then they'll have a huge tribute/celebration for HBK the next night, where he promises to never ever wrestle again...for the next six months.

I remember that a year or so ago someone supposedly leaked a script that described how The Undertaker and HBK's first WM feud was supposed to go. WWE said it was fake, but there were some ideas that I think could be interesting.
I've found myself thinking that it could be cool to have HBK go up against Kane at Wrestlemania instead of The Undertaker. Have Kane pester HBK about letting go of his obsession with 'Taker until finally, instead of listening to The Big Red Machine, Michaels lashes out at him, ending with a superkick. As a result of Michael's actions he's put in a match with Kane at Wrestlemania instead of The Undertaker. Michaels' is pissed, but he decides that if this is the way it's going to be he'll make the best of it. If he can't have one brother he can take out the other. Of course, Kane's pissed too. He was trying to do Michaels a favor, and his efforts were rewarded with disrespect. I'd even have Kane go so far as to say that Michaels may talk about being a man of God nowadays, but he's really just the same spoiled brat he's always been, the one who would "lose his smile" whenever he didn't get his way. Well, if it's an unholy ass-kicking he wants so badly, Kane can do that too. OR, I've even thought that it could be interesting to have Kane start attacking Michaels and essentially drawing his ire. And, believe it or not he says that it's for Michaels' own good. The two of them feud and finally face off at Wrestlemania. Being a Kane fan I'd like to see him win, but Michaels could also win. Then, later on we see The Undertaker face someone else and win. We cut to backstage and we see Michaels watching the match. Kane shows up behind him and says something to the affect of "That would have been you, and you know it. Don't bother to thank me, I might not be feeling so helpful next time." How do those ideas look? |
