Default Friday the 13th: The Game (Leave your gamer tags XB1, PS4, Steam)

Leave your gamer tags here so some of us can play together in the game. Also if you want to do a private match together, list what time you'll be on (and platform, and gamer tag). I've been playing it for a while and it is great fun.

    Idrinkbeer PS4.
I've only played a handful of times, but it's a lot of fun.
I'm surprised more people on the forum aren't talking about the game.

Yea unfortunately the board is a little dead, especially since there is no new movie in sight. If anyone in on Steam, I'm JasonsStorm. Just remind me who you are.

And considering the way the lawsuit seems to be going this may be the only new Jason-related thing we see for a while or ever.

So when this game originally came out I predicted I'd get somewhere from 8-10 actually hours of enjoyment out of it. Well, I definitely smashed those numbers but overall I still say the game can only take you so far. At first, everyone was new and frustrated with all the server crashes and what not but I stuck through it because of my love for the franchise and the surprising fun I was having playing. It's the first game in a long time where the headset was key, so talking trash which had become a nostalgia for me was right back at the forefront.

I think I sit now at about level 40 or so; I haven't picked up the game in weeks but I really should be around 50 with all the crashes I've experienced. To me, they did a really shitty job with the release and handling of this game. I would have gladly waited another month or so to have a better server experience. There was a day I played for 3 hours straight and finished one complete game.

The Single Player mode, I think, is going to be lackluster at best. But we'll have to wait and see. Overall, the game surprised the fuck out of me but in the end, I feel underwhelmed at points. Everyone got real extra with how good they were as Jason, and i seemed to lack the overall dexterity to master the timing of shift, so I often found myself in wars with people calling me a "trash Jason". When I started, Jason was my favorite but toward the end i found out I was much more formidable as a counselor. It amazes me how many people couldn't grip the basic concept of "drop stuff by the car/boat/fuse box" and "don't bother trying if you have a character with low intelligence."

When you get a group of 6 or 7 counselors working on the same page it's a fun game, but if you wind up with randos with no mic.. it can be extremely frustrating.

If I'm playing with random people i rarely use the mic. There are usually a couple people who will work together and everyone else just seems to run around relatively aimlessly.
I am terrible as Jason, any Jason, and usually prefer to play as a councilor.
When ever i generate as Jason it's too much pressure. Lol.
I'm still having a lot of fun with the game and I'm really looking forward to the single player.
I can see how some get tired of this game quickly though.
I do hope for additional maps and Jasons, though how many more Jasons can they do? Not many. FvsJ and the 2009 remake are the only ones that really make any sense.
