I watched a little bit of this again tonight, still cool, though I wish they had taken out that narration at about 12 minutes in or so, when the sheriff's narration is going over dialogue.... the narration itself also reveals entirely too much. The medical examiner could have beena bit of a surprise culprit but it pretty much gives him away with that.

I Just watched House Of 1000 Corpses and i liked it a lot it was diffrent and i liked the characters and overall feel of the movie.I saw The Devil's Rejects brfore and i loved it it was one of my favorite Horror movies i have ever seen.I like what Rob Zombie Did with thise Films And hope he does more like them.

Yeah, this is one of the few, that I think could be improved on. I still like the original, though. They could really milk the critter action. Plus, milk the bounty hunter morphing. Have crazier and funnier reactions from the town.

I just watched Terror Train and absolutely loved it. I saw bits and pieces once before when I was younger but was too young to really get what was going on PLUS I had missed the beginning which helped explain a lot.

I didn't mind Survival. It was okay, but I seem to remember the ending kind of stalling the film's momentum and the CG getting to me a little bit. What's weird is I actually really enjoyed Diary the first time I saw it and every time I've seen it since then, I just borderline hated it. I'm just to the point where if the master of zombie cinema can't make a fantastic zombie film anymore, he either needs to move on to something different or hang it up for good.

Heh. There are a couple gore scenes in it worth checking out.... though I've got to track down the original DVD. That Fox/Key Video one sucks. False advertising due to botching back cover art...

Actually, I dunno. I do kind of like the movie, and I know this is a fucking STUPID reason, because of the surprise upon finding out it was really some unreleased 80's movie. I guess it made things a little cooler. :D

But, like I said, the 2 or so gore scenes that are in the movie are worth watching (the guy being torn to pieces, the dude's face being chewed off etc.) I dunno, I kinda dug it. The enidng is beyond lame though... the CIA people or whoever go back in to fight the monster.... then it ends. Lame.

Hell Night (1981)

Why is WB charging the same price for DVD-Rs through their Archive series? It's certainly stupid. As for the Hell Night repack, my guess is that all the big fans already had Hell Night and the other 5 movies in it by that point, which is why it sat on the shelves.
