I know some of you guys know about this already but a lot don't so, in case we find anyone interested, figured I'd post here.
Halloween: The Series (HTS for short) is a fanfiction series of scripts that started six years ago and takes place between Halloween 5 and 6. It follows Tommy's story as he tries to track down Jamie Lloyd (at leats at first) and it develops the mythoogy of Myers, Thorn and other characters.
The pitch for the series was "The X-Files meets Buffy with a Halloween twist" and that's still fairly strong. Think of the Myers stuff as the "mythology" episodes, like with the X-Files. Otehr episodes deal with the supernatural or human problems, often found as the cast investigate something that might lead them to Michael.
It starts off, not great. The writing team were young ut it improves with each series as we improve our writing. I think Season 3 is probably where we really get it and Season 4 onwards is the best stuff.
The cast of HTS include:
Tommy Doyle - returning to Haddonfield to investigate Jamies disapperance
Debra Loomis - the neice of Dr Loomis, meets Tommy whilst visiting her comotose Uncle who suffered a stroke at the end of HW5
Lonnie Elamb - Tommy's childhood tormenter, after revenge for the detah of sister, Sami in HW5
Adam Travers - English author, an expert of pagan religions and a man of God, intiailly a sceptic
Helen Jacobs - troubled teenaged girl who is plagued by visions
Not all the cast turn up in Season 1 and it does change over the course of the series, which, as I said improves alot.
Here's the link for the main listings: http://www.geocities.com/htseries/index.html
Season One Page: http://www.geocities.com/htseries/htseries_season1.html
Currently Season 6 is being put up, along with a spin-off series set in Chicago. This is the finale HTS series and Halloween 1995 is fast approaching...
