WWE has yet again changed course and has decided to change up the SummerSlam main event picture. Randy Orton, who was originally scheduled to be facing a returning Triple H, is now reportedly being scheduled to face to Cody Rhodes. There is no word on who Triple H will now face, but it will not be WWE Champion John Cena. WWE knows that can be a big money match and does not want to just give it away without proper build up.

Also the poster looks like it does have Jackass on it so the rumored Jackass vs Umaga match looks like it's on.

Speaking of the Jackass match at SummerSlam, it doesn’t look Bam Margera will be working the event. Bam recently suffered a torn liver and concussion after a skateboarding accident in Louisville, Kentucky. The injuries left Margera hospitalized for three days. While it is not certain the injuries will keep him out of the match, it certainly doesn’t improve his chances of getting in a WWE ring.

Umaga vs. The Jackass crew. I'm not sure... on paper it looks pretty bad, but on the other hand The Jackass dudes could probably take some pretty insane bumps and it would be in Umaga's character to basically throw them around the arena and beat the shit out of them.

It definitely won't be a good wrestling match but it could be incredibly entertaining if done right.

And I haven't seen much of Cody Rhodes but he's supposed to be good and he's a welcome change from WWE's usual bodybuilder type worker.

Yeah on other forums I've looked on most think the Cody vs Orton match will be quite good as Cody is a good wrestler

The planned "Jackass invasion" storyline which would have culminated at SummerSlam with a match against Umaga has been scrapped. WWE had already started promoting the Jackass stars appearing at SummerSlam - on the PPV promotional poster featuring the Jackass crew on the beach - burried up to their necks by Umaga.

The angle was originally supposed to include all of the big Jackass stars - Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Wee Man and the rest of them. Bam Margera suffered an injury recently and had to drop out of the match. The deal officially fell apart late last week when Johnny Knoxville pulled out.

Johnny Noxville had planned to do a few TV appearances for WWE leading up to the SummerSlam PPV. After the Benoit family tragedy happened, Knoxville and the rest of the group began distancing themselves from WWE. What started off as a several promised TV and PPV appearances soon scaled back to Jackass only working the SummerSlam PPV. Knoxville's departure lead WWE to cancel the match completely.

The Jackass were supposed to appear at the Great American Bash last weekend and do some of their stunts on Umaga, costing him to drop the Intercontinental title to Jeff Hardy. The Jackass crew was booked to be victorious over Umaga in their match at SummerSlam. Umaga will now face Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam.

Ah well, they have pulled the plug on the Jackass angle. I thought that it would be funny seeing Umaga stiff people like Steve-O. Nevermind i'd imagine that Umaga will just continue his feud with Jeff Hardy.

Possible winner to Batista vs Great Khali
Unless plans change, Batista is beating Great Khali for the belt at SummerSlam and they'll do another stip match on the September PPV (unless the match is so horrible the program immediately ends). I can only hope the stip match is PUNJABI PRISON.

Dude, I don't know if it was because I was really drunk or not...but this PPV was amazing. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

It wasn't bad I DVD'd it so I'll re watch it tomorrow The Cena vs Orton match was good

Even though Cena won again it was the first time since he won it I genuinely thought he was going to lose and right up until the last second they made it look like it was Orton's night.

Still I don't care that Cena won as I really dislike Orton

The main event was awesome, we finally have a decent number one contender for the women's title, the IC title isn't being thrown around like a hot potatoe anymore, Punk vs Morrison was good but the crowd and the ending nearly ruined it, Khali vs. Batista was terrible, Kane vs. Finlay was a good opener, Rey vs. Chavo was good but the crowd again and Rey's silver paint sort of brought it down, Triple H vs. Booker was great.

All in all, I thought that it was a fairly good PPV (kicked Hard Justice's ass anyway),

I read that Kennedy-Batista-C.M Punk & Orton were all planned to go over but as it was leaked onto the internet they changed their plans at the last minute so the outcome was a surprise

Kind of glad that I didn't watch this. Didn't really miss a whole lot.

They're two for three so far this year - - of WWE's four big PPV's, the only one that was any good was the Royal Rumble. WM, with the exception of HBK vs Flair, wasn't all that, and with the exception of the HIAC, SS was even a bigger dud. I'm glad Punk beat JBL & the Santino/Phoenix vs Kingston/James match was a nice touch, but there was nothing else there. The only match that had any real build was Taker vs Edge. Face it, HHH vs Khali could NEVER be a main event, and while I've been looking forward to a Cena/Batista feud for some time, they really rushed it & wasted a lot of potential.....

I'm just glad that Khali didn't beat HHH. Not that I thought he'd win anyway.

I'm glad Punk won too. He's had a nice little title reign thus far. I hope to see him with the belt for awhile.
