I've literally just finished reading Ghost Story, the thirteenth novel in Jim Butcher's long-running The Dresden Files series.
It was pretty good. The thing took me a lot longer to read through than the previous novels, mostly because it feels like what it is: a mid-series filler story. It sets up some of the events of the next book and develops one minor character into a more major role, but otherwise it doesn't add a lot to the mythology. It's not a bad book, it just feels like it's padded pretty heavily.
The next book has got a title -- Cold Days -- but otherwise, little is known about the content. We've hit the halfway point with this series, and I personally am still intrigued, so I'm looking forward to see what the back 13 brings.
