It's a pretty good slasher film, with Daphne Zuniga (sp?).

Talk about an ending! I give it a 7/10. So, basically I round down and give it ***.

I thought this was just decent. I thought some of the kills were pretty good, and that's about it, to be honest.

I'd have to agree with you there, Josh. There really isn't enough in it to keep you interested a 2nd time through.

In terms of climax, Pranks no doubt kills The Initiation.

I own the same double feature, C. Watched it for the first time a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good slasher.

I think you'd enjoy it Chris. Clu Gulager is in it as well, although he doesn't have THAT much screen time.

Plus, Daphne Zuniga is looking all sexy and whatnot. :shyface:

The first time I watched this, I was like "it's pretty decent."

But as time goes by, reevaluating some slashers, I find myself easing up and realising that some are actually VERY good. Initiation is one of these films. It's actually a really good slasher, just overshadowed by better from the era.

I still need to get my hands on this. It's the only slasher I don't have that is mentioned in Going to Pieces.
