If this one belongs in Collections, sue me. I've not been here all week due to my return to college life, so I don't want to start posting stuff where it doesn't belong upon my return. But me and my friends drove down to Hollywood Video on Wednesday to check out the older titles they carry and low and behold that the sale bargain bin was FULL of rare titles in prime condition for 50 cents a piece. Naturally, I wet myself and bought them all, so I wanted to start this thread since I now have a worthy retro horror library. Keep in mind though, that your post can only be original VHS releases.
The Fly (original CBS-FOX VHS)
Sleepaway Camp III
The Stuff
TerrorVision (Lightning Video)
Twilight Zone: The Movie (clamshell box)
The Howling (Embassy Pictures)
Phantasm II
I hope to keep extending this collection as soon as I can locate some new products.

The only VHS I've held onto is Phantasm II.

I seem to recall a "list your horror DVD thread" in the old forum being in the personal lists and games forum, so I'll move it over there.
And Jigsaw, I wish I had a copy of Phantasm II because it seems like Universal is never going to release it.
Anyway, I think I might have an old VHS copy of the Evil Dead around here somewhere. Oh, and Halloween with the lenticular cover that came out around 2000 or so.

Psycho.
That is all.

I just remembered I have "It" as well. I never owned any NOES or F13 on VHS, but I copied the movies off TV quite a bit.

Have you tried looking on Amazon.com for used copies?

I have, but it wouldn't do me much good because I don't even have a VCR anymore. Well, I do technically, but it isn't hooked up or anything. I'll just keep holding out on Universal to release it on DVD sometime.

Wow, is that pic fucking old! I have about 50 more now. Coincidentally, most of the rare shit is not in that pic. And as you can see, my beloved Doom Asylum VHS is in there. ;)

It's not official, but that DVD has a decent transfer and good features too. You'll need a region-free player to view it though.

There's a place online that sells pirated copies of the laserdisc pressed onto a DVD with a professional cover... I have the 2 DVD set with Phantasm II, Phantasm II workprint with trailers, convention footage and such. It's worth the price. It's far cheaper than the PAL version, but pretty much the same.
As for my VHS collection... I really wouldn't want to list what I have, but heres pics. I've probably bought 50+ more since these pics.

I still have every single VHS I've ever had. To make a list of every horror movie on VHS I have would be nigh impossible. It's got to be well over 3,000.

Okay, I got bored, and decided to post pics of my Older School Horror. Yes, I added the -er. Plus, I wanted to show the Charter "Hatchet for the Honeymoon" with incorrect spelling, since I have looked numerous times on the internet, and found nothing!
PS, Uber sorry for making them so big. :( I ruin loading page processes. :( Whaaa, dumb camera too.

I had a chance to buy the prism VHS tape of "Demon Wind" last May. Cheap too. $2, and 3 for $5. Guess what? I'm an idiot!!! Can't believe I skipped it off. I bought Silent Madness, Too Scared to Scream, and Hatchet for a Honeymoon (Charter). If I had known then that Hatchet was already on DVD, I would have bought Demon Wind for sure! In fact, I should have bought it anyways!!! Argh! I'm so stupid! I'd beat myself to a pulp even more, if I had bought the Media HftH. At least I got the rare VHS. But still....ach! No use crying over spilt Demon. :*(

Demon Wind is so cheesy. haha.
It's worth it for the cover though... when I was younger that movie, Dead Pit and Metamorphosis would always catch my eyes.

I forgot about my copies of Psycho III and my A Nightmare on Elm Street first print that I picked up in a vendor's mall. I also picked up the original Media Nightmare 2, but it didn't have a box, just a clear old school clamshell box.

Looking through my old stuff I found Scream 2 and Scream 3 on VHS today. Guess I could add that.
