So in the same spirit of the Favorite Scene From Any Halloween Movie (http://www.f13community.com/board/showthread.php?t=8736), along with some posts in the NOES2 thread:
Freddy in Part 3 does have his moments of scare. The opening scene where he is chasing Kristin down the long corridors and all you saw of Freddy was a shadow was creepy. Also, the little kid turned into a skeleton was creepy too.
I had nightmares of Freddy chasing me down corridors as well just because of the movie.
I honestly think one of the scariest moments for me (when I was younger) came in part 3 when Kristen stumbles onto all of those kids hung up in Freddy's house. Freaky shit.
... I've decided to start a thread for the Nightmare series where we can share our favorite scenes from the movies. Whether it be scenes that made us wet ourselves as kids all the way to scenes that just plain looked cool.
A few scenes I had in mind were ones that scared me as a kid...
1) The above quote from myself
2) The scene where Tina walks down the ally all the way to her death
3) Freddy's claws coming through the plumbing and appearing in the mirror cutting Kristen in 3.
4) Freddy's "you go the body, I got the brain" scene from part 2.
Just a few I had in mind.

Three words.
"This. Is. God."
Actually, Tina's whole death scene is an incredible piece of horror film history.
Funny enough, I was just going into the Halloween thread to post that these should happen for Nightmare and Friday.

I loved the Pool Massacre on part 2! everything from the padlock, the BBQ caught on fire, and when Freddy jumps out and starts killing everybody... now that was one scary dude!

I loved the sequence in 3 where Freddy turns Philip into a puppet using his veins.

I think my favorite scene is a tie between the part in Dream Warriors, when Freddy tricks Joey with the Nurse (that one liner he tosses in there never fails to crack me up), and in Dream Master, with the whole roach hotel scene. Gets me every time...
Grady's death followed closely by Tina's.

In Nightmare:freddy::freddy::freddy:When Dr. Gordon and Dan Thompson try to bury Freddy's remains, and surprise , surprise things go wrong when they spring to life. Clobbering the good doctor, and impaling Nancy's father on the claws fused to the Freddy skeleton. And finishing off the poor man spearing him on a sharp piece of metal among the scrap heap. Then the animated skeleton goes back to the grave the two intended to shovel a little dirt on Neil whose lying injured ,and a bit unconscious in the hole as a little added humiliation. That scene when the skeleton popped out of the bag really made my eyebrows pop up. I'm a bit surprised that NECA has yet make a Freddy Skeleton figure as of yet.

Yeah Tina's death stands the test of time and can still be shocking to newcomers to the series in this generation!
I can't remember much about the Jackie movie, but I believe Tina's death looked too mystical.....
anyway another cool scene

the opening scene of FvJ with all the original Freddy kills.
and especially with Englund as normal alive Fred, was awesome.
i always wished that had been made into a whole prequel of him as alive kiddy killer Freddy.

Between the Freddy's Nightmares pilot and the Freddy's Dead flashback scenes, I think it's pretty well covered, at least that's what I've always thought. But if given a choice between a sequel to the Platinum Dunes movie and a prequel with Englund, I'd take the prequel now.

Englund may be too old for a prequel, unless they CG his face for the entire film. But I would love to get a prequel too.

He would have been too old that whole time they were talking about it for the past decade. :X
I love when Freddy comes up out of someone's bead and claws his way out from under the sheets like in both of Wes' films.

Freddy first became a puppet and then turned Philip into one.

Yeah, Freddy was totally a marionette/puppet.
My favorite scene of the whole series is probably Tina's nightmare/"This... is God."
I have too many favorite scenes to pick just one. I have always loved the skin the cat scene in New Nightmare.
I have also always loved the "Hey Nancy! No running in the hallway" scene.

Hands down favorite moment, that.
As far as scenes go, I really love Phillip's death in part 3. Its just brutal, especially since all the other potential victims are forced to watch it happen. Its very powerful.

I love in Freddy's Revenge when Jesse shows up in Grady's bedroom.
The whole scene is classic.
One of my favorite images in the entire genre involve the shots of the gothic cathedral in the Elm Street 5 dreams. People have mixed feelings about that movie, but damn that was an amazing set and the imagery is haunting!

Nancy's dream in class in the first film. Also Tina's death but it's so iconic it pretty much goes without saying. I also love in part four when Alice goes to the theater, and when her and Dan are stuck in a loop.
