Part 7 Mask Thread

This kind of exploded the past night. Thought I would share a bit as I go along.

Face shape is, I think, mostly on with some minor adjustments needed. Next is to get the clay smoothed a bit more and then begin adding the wrinkles and wounds.

... in my fucking dreams. You're your own worst critic, but take it for someone who knows art... you have talent. Your talent is up to par with people who work in top of the line films.

Now it doesn't look exactly like JCB's design, but that's because there's not one artist out there that can make an exact replica of someone else's work. Its not possible. It will always be very very close to the original, but never exact.

This being said, its fucking awesome and Kane will love it. Destroying it will be a huge mistake. Not giving it to him would be a bigger one. The exact first three words from his mouth will be "YOU made this?!"

Jus10, Tall Man, thanks a bunch you two. Means a lot. Still not sure how I feel about the piece, and I haven't gotten ANY comments over at Effects Lab about it. I was really hoping for critiques from some of the pros over there, but 200 views later and nada. It really does mean a lot, though, to hear back on here from everyone that has. I appreciate it a lot, you guys.

If you want critiques, you made his nose a tad bigger than what JCB did. But it's as I said, an artist cannot perfectly copy someone else's work. Unless of course they're tracing a drawing.

Think of it this way, if you've had over 200 views asking people to critique the thing, that means over 200 people have nothing bad to say about it. That's a good thing.
