This works the same was as the 'Last DVD you purchased' thread.
I ordered the following all at once:
Walker Texas Ranger: The Novel
Walker Texas Ranger: Hell's Half Acre
MEG
Doctor Who: The Stealers of Dreams
Doctor Who: I am a Dalek
Doctor Who: Made of Steel
I also physically picked up:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8: The Chain
The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born [7 of 7]
I can't comment on any of them yet, as I've not read them. The first two books (the Walker novels) are something I purchased my bro for his birthday. There's a third one, but I'll have to pick it up later.

Yesterday, I picked up SHOUT (an account of The Beatles) in hardcover for 50% off. When I went to the counter and attempted to pay the $12.50 on the sticker, the clerk said that amount was the before price.
Got the brand new hardcover for $6.25 plus tax. :funky:
I'm saving up to get Alice Cooper's Golf Monster for $32.00 from my rolled pennies and dimes. School supplies for the kids kind of ate at the paycheck this month, but what the hell... it needed to be done.

I haven't purchased a book in a few months but the last ones I bought were:
Cell by Stephen King (haven't read yet)
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (saw the movie & liked it and decided to pick up the book and read it to see what the Christians around here were fussing about the book for -- I'm surprised they didn't try to ban it in Haywood County and westward to the state border -- overall not a bad read tho)

I started working on original fiction, so my fan fiction kind of fell by the wayside.
My knowledge of Ranma 1/2 was, on the whole, sort of lacking back then. I had only seen a handful of episodes from the animated series at that point. But I'm thinking of picking the story back up once I've read the rest of the graphic novels (there are 36 books in the series, so only 23 left to go).

Sounds good, if you do decide to pick it up again, feel free to send it my way, I think you left off at the beginning of Part 2...cliffhangers are a bitch ;)

I've actually got part 1 through, I think, Part 7 completed. But I was re-writing it as I posted it, so part 3 through 7 would conflict with the version of part 1 and 2 that you've read. *falls over*
I'll probably re-write the thing from the ground up when I work on it again, using the original version as a template.

http://site.beckedavis.com/images/chosen_to_die_n8al.jpg
He'll Choose Them. . .
Detective Regan Pescoli has worked the "Star Crossed Killer" case for months, never imagining she'd be captured by the madman she's been hunting. Regan knows exactly what he's capable of—and avoiding the same fate will take every drop of her courage and cunning.
Abduct Them. . .
Regan Pescoli is unlike any woman Nate Santana has met before. But now she's missing, and Nate knows something is dangerously wrong. The only person who can help him find her is Detective Selena Alvarez, Regan's partner. As Nate and Selena dig deeper into the Star-Crossed Killer case and the body count rises, the truth about Regan's disappearance becomes chillingly clear.
And Kill Them. . .
In the desolate Montana woods, evil is lurking. And with time running out, the only way to save Regan will be to get inside a killer's twisted mind and unravel a shocking message that is being revealed, one body at a time. . .
