Any thought on this one?

I bought it on the Synapse DVD little over a month ago. Can't say it was great, but I liked it. 6/10.

I like how little kills there were, so that when they did happen, it took more effect. Even if it was depressing. :(

Talk about a WTF ending? Anybody agree? Ho ho ho!

This movie was ok. I thought it was really dull and slow throughout most of it. The end, where the fan flew off into the sky like Santa's sleigh was cheesy, but ended the film on a not so depressing note.

I agree. I was like, as far as I remember, going off my rocker because it was sooooo slow. The end I liked, it was just...really wierd.

I don't think anyone expected that movie. I heard somewhere that the real 'evil' of Chistmas in that movie is the commercialism of the whole holiday.

I think I read that on the slip inside the Synapse DVD. The one with the Christmas Evil comic on the opposite side. "Lick, lick." Te-he, silliness.

yup, that's exactly where, I remember now. I actually bought this not too long ago. I think I may give it another watch because i watched it with a big clump of others so I probably didn't give it a fair chance.

Oh, I HATE watching cult horror with other people. They always diss it, and talk through the movie.

Examples are:
-Sleepaway Camp
-Friday the 13th Part V
-Dolls
-A Nightmare on Elm Street
-Don't Go In The Woods (although, that one is kinda allowed, haha)

Don't Go In The Woods had a great bodycount though. I don't think it was a bad movie over all.

Honestly, it was a terrible movie. One of the worst! But for entertainment value, it is one of the best! With cheese, high bodycounts, blood, and awkward moments, it made for one hell of a hilarious night. Overall, in technicalities, it's a horrible film! But if you want to have some fun, it's one of the best!

I think I'm gonna watch this today and try to get into the spirit. There is a dark tone to this film. I just wish is wasn't so damn slow!

I haven't seen it yet but own a double feature of it & Silent Night, Bloody Night. I'd like to own the Synapse version at some point.
