Friday the 13th Part 3 Masks and costume.

These came in the mail a little before Christmas. I just found a working camera and thought I'd post them.

The hockey mask is from fiberglassmasks.com and the latex is a Brute hood from Darkside Studios Paul.

This is only my second hockey mask and hood combo, so I might not be the best judge, but I'm blown away with the quality of the masks.
The Brute hood is 1/4 inch thick and maintains it's own shape even with the elastic of the hockey mask trying to compress it.

Dude very awesome hood. It's like, 100% more detail than mine, and I thought mine was pretty good. And in full costume, you're pretty much the best looking Jason I've seen since White. And like Tally said, you've got Brooker's stare down. My only critique, hunch a little bit. The hood has the hump in it, but you see it much better when you slightly hunch instead of standing up straight.

Lance Lives.I found the shirt at a second hand store in my area. The store was called 'Value Village'. There's also a 'Salvation Army Thrift Store' downtown from me that I was going to try.
Maybe look into second hand stores if you have any your area. Hope this helps.

I appreciate the critique Justyn. There are a bunch of improvements that I would like to make. That's one of them I overlooked but that I can work on in the present. There are some improvements that will take me years, like getting bigger physically.

If you're going to do it for your own benefit, go for it. If your doing it just to have a Jason build, don't bother, you already got the 2-4 build going on. If you builk up too much... well then we'll all get to see how Hodder would have looked as a human Jason.

I plan on letting it happen naturally and not over doing it.
I quit smoking almost a year ago, I drink less:( and have had a job roofing for 6 years. I'm thinking the job will keep me in lean shape and by focusing on not partying I'll save money and be able to put on a little extra weight.
For my height I'd say I'm a little under weight.

Hodder as human Jason made me laugh. Could you imagine? Too much bulk and not enough neck for my Jason taste.
For the serious Hodder fan: I accept him and all of the Jasons, he's just not my favorite, I'm not trying to hate on Hodder.

I love Hodder for what he made Jason to be. He gave Jason a personality we didn't really see from the other actors. I wouldn't say he was a better Jason White or Brooker, but he's my favorite above them simply because he loved the character, tried harder than anyone else, gave more acting, and actually showed Jason's emotion through body language.

I also love Hodder for the reasons you mentioned.

I made the small disclaimer at the end of my last post in case someone took my bulky/no neck opinion the wrong way.
There have been people I've talked to that believe Hodder is the definitive version of Jason and that there is no room for anyone else to play him. I understand their passion and didn't want to offend them.

While we are mentioning favorites, mine is Ted White. I like his on-set mentality of not associating with the other actors and also his change of heart towards the franchise in the end.
Being at first ashamed with his involvement, then years later after meeting the fans, wishing he had embraced it all along.
I feel sorry for Teds closed mindedness at the time but I'm happy he now sees the love people have for him and his portrayal of Jason.

Those are a couple of reasons I like Ted White the person but it's still hard for me to put to words why I like Ted Whites Jason the best.

You are right. When I first saw it I was thinking the same thing. My plan is to have it converted over to a part 4. When I ordered it I wanted a part 3 clean and after seeing the completed pics of the clean version I just was not 100% happy with it. I asked for it to be weathered up some and the end result is what you see in the pics. I still think it is a killer hock ether way and is going to make a mean looking part 4.

Looks pretty sick man! I am really digging that hood! I need to pick one up but I am in the process of putting together a remake costume that is killing my funds right now!

I can't believe i never attempted a Jason Halloween costume. I remember buying the Freddy glove and wearing a sweater with a hat one year, but never my favorite icon. Weird.
