Jesus, this is out of hand.
Rest in peace, Brian Adams.
Added: One of my favorite Brian Adams moments was when he showed up on Nitro for the first time and joined the nWo.

Damn.
Let's hope it was natural, or at least nit linked to substance. Nancy Grace will have this on tonight I guarantee it.
Sad.

Another wrestler gone. :( I liked him when he was in Kronik. They were one of my favorite parts of WCW during its final days.
RIP, Brian Adams.

R.I.P Crush I liked him in Demolition and DOA as well as his heel run with Yokozuna
I also liked the Randy Savage vs Crush match from WMX and have always wanted to see a match with the same rules again
Update
Tampa Police and fire and rescue workers arrived at Brian Adam's home this morning after receiving a call from his wife that he was being unresponsive. Rescue workers tried to revive him, but her unable to do so and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been transported to the medical examiners office where an autopsy is expected to be done tomorrow. The cause of death is unknown, but the incident report states that are no visible signs of an injury.
One unconfirmed report from a WWE source states that the former WWE star may have choked on his own vomit.

And sadly I am not surprised. He had actually crossed my mind after the Benoit thing when I was morbidly speculating on potential 'who is next?" pondering. You'll remember in 95 he was nailed on drugs and weapons charges and then the E went and turned it into an angle.
I wonder if they ever got him help? I wonder if he got himself help. Either way, another life is over way too soon. I hope his wife can handle the trauma of finding her husband dead.
This is just so sad. I liked neon orange Kona Crush but other than that, I wasn't ever too big a fan of his characters. He was physically impressive though.
My fears now include Mero's list getting +1 and he going BACK on the talk show circuit with an "I told you so" attitude as well as people like Nancy Grace doing the same.
I want our heroes to live longer lives but somewhere I feel like its too late for most of them. In a lot of cases the damage has been done. Look at Regal. He's cleaned up. I still have feelings of dread for him.
RIP Brian "Crush" Adams.

I think now it's just "Our" generations stars who are dying a few years ago it was the guys who were big in the 80's now it's the guys who made their name in the 90's who are dying
This is out of hand. These guys are so young. I liked all of his characters except when he was in Demolition.

It sucks that the life expectancey of a wrestler is 45. Something jsut has to change. These guiys abuse themselves daily, 260 days a year or more and it seems like they are just forgotten when they either get old and retire or retire because of inability to compete.
I used to love wrestling as a kid, and it's sad when you still hear about people like Sting, Ric Flair and The Steiners but what about the other people I loved like Rick Rude (dead), Jake The Snake (be surprised if he isnt dead), Texas Tornado (dead), Jimmy & Ronnie Garvin and so on?
It's sad and I now hate WWE and everything it stands for. It will never be the way it used to be, and sadly it probably will only get worse. Remember when MTV actually had music videos? We will say "Remember when WWE actually had matches?" I'll be surprised if all of the TV spots will focus on angles and plots, and pay per views will be matches, but I'm sure something that extreme is bound to happen.
This is out of hand. These guys are so young. I liked all of his characters except when he was in Demolition.
I agree with you Rich, these young guys are dropping like flies. It's a damn shame too.

Autopsy Results Are In:
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -Former pro wrestler Brian "Crush'' Adams died last month after accidentally ingesting a lethal mixture of prescribed medications, the medical examiner's office said Friday.
The 44-year-old Tampa resident died Aug. 13 from mixing a strong painkiller with muscle relaxants and two different types of sedatives, said Dr. Leszek Chrostowski from the Hillsborough County medical examiner's office.
Chrostowski said he found "therapeutic levels'' of each of the drugs in his system, but the mixture slowed his respiratory system enough to kill him.
There were no anabolic steroids in Adams' body, a report from the office said.
The drugs that killed Adams included buprenorphine, an opiate-based painkiller that Chrostowski said is often used like methadone in the treatment of painkiller addiction; carisoprodol, a muscle relaxant; and sedatives chlordiazepoxide and alprazolam.
Adams wasn't breathing when his wife found him unconscious in their home.
A former world tag team champion, Adams last performed for the World Wrestling Federation in 2001 and served intermittently on the roster beginning in 1990, World Wrestling Entertainment said. He wrestled his last match in January 2003 when a spinal injury forced him into retirement.
Adams' death came less than two months after pro wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife and son before hanging himself on the cable of a weight machine in his Georgia home. Prescription anabolic steroids were found in the Benoit family's home, raising questions about whether the drugs played a role in the killings.

I thought his finisher was the heart punch? Or did he change it at some point? Or am I thinking of someone completely different?
