Based on the new Survivor Series poster there are rumor's that Edge will do a run in with a chainsaw and cut his way into the Punjabi Prison Match to interfere somehow

Below is the new Survivor Series promotional poster that has been released. As you can see, it features Edge with a chainsaw and what looks to be shattered bamboo at his feet. It's been reported that Edge may do a run-in during the Punjabi Prison match at No Mercy this weekend with Batista and The Great Khali. What better way to break inside the bamboo structure than cut it down? Take it for what its worth, but this could be a clue as to what may happen at No Mercy this Sunday.

I find it odd neither Undertaker-Kane MVP or Matt have a match at this PPV especially as there is only 6 matches booked and the norm is 7 maybe 8 matches per PPV

Just to add I it's bad news (in more ways then 1) that there is a Punjabi Prison Match on the card as if not they could of booked a elimination chamber match for the vacant WWE Championship

According to sources, Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho is in play as a possibility for the WWE title match for Sunday Night's main event at the No Mercy PPV in Chicago, IL. This does NOT mean it's confirmed but it's been talked about.

I must say, tomorrow night's PPV is the perfect time for them to bring Jericho back in, but I don't know if they will or not. They've only built up his return for about two weeks. I think they may hold it off and build it up for a few more weeks.

Something else I've been wondering about; I wonder if they'll get rid of the Spinner Belt for a while, since Cena's out. (I know they kept it for both of Edge's reigns.) Personally, I'm sick of the spinner belt. I'd like to see the design of the undisputed title again.

Edge was supposed to get his own custom belt (not a spinner) but they didn't have to time make it so they took a Cena back up belt and redesigned it on the quick there was even talk of all of the Raw main event stars who will carry the belt would get a personal custom belt.

That sounds like a neat idea. I've just grown tired of looking at that damn spinner belt for so long. I wonder what the design of Edge's custom (non-spinner) belt looked like.

To be honest when I first saw the spinner I thought that looks like a piece of smeg but it doesn't bother me now guess I just got used to it.

Anyway tonight I can see the Undisputed version of the title returning or a new stranded design (not custom as they won't of had time to design and make one) but they may of already had a stranded belt ready for transitional holders

You know, at first, I really didn't mind the Spinner Belt. I always thought it was tacky and didn't really like it, but it went with Cena's character. That was a few years ago, though. Now, I've gotten completely sick of it and can't stand it AT ALL. I think his US Spinner Title was lame too.

I really love the undisputed design. I'd like to see it come back. I'm open to a new design as long as it doesn't suck.

This PPV is one of the most interesting in WWE(F) history not because of the matches as they are pretty underwhelming but because of what we don’t know

You and me both. To me Cena is completely overrated/overused. He held the belt for far to long and I'm glad he doesn't have it anymore (even if it took an injury to take it away).

I don't mind Cena I think there is to much hate thrown his way he's nowhere near the worse title holder he's not even the worse to hold a main event belt in the last 12 months (Big Show Lashley Vince Kahli Batista ) are all far worse

Orton's attitude is what makes me dislike him so much and him getting the belt would not be a good thing. But I feel he has far more talent than Cena. I see nothing special in Cena, to me he belongs in the same category as the four names you mentioned.

I don't like Orton OR Cena, but I think Orton is the lesser of two evils. He's miles ahead of Cena, as far as ring skills are concerned (which isn't saying a hell of a lot). I think he's an asshole, personally, but I'm not judging his talent based on his personal life.

Cena and Orton are the guys they are/were pushing in the main event, so when choosing between the two, I choose Orton.

When you look at it, neither one of them are that great and neither deserve the WWE title (IMO) but, sadly, that's who they're pushing.

I don't mind a year long (or longer) title reign. Hell, I like it when someone holds the title for over a year, but NOT when it's a guy I don't like. ESPECIALLY when they're pushing him as their top babyface and he's getting booed MORE than the top HEEL. I think I could've stomached it better if Cena were a heel. That way, his shitty "wrestling" could be used as part of his heel gimmick. (For example: Hollywood Hulk Hogan; Circa 1996.)

As far as Cena getting "too much" hate, well, people ARE entitled to their opinions. I'm sure all of the 12 year-old WWE fans are saddened about John Cena being out, but not me. I'm not saying I'm glad he's injured, but I AM glad he's not gonna be around for a while. Call me a smark or a hater or whatever. I'm entitled to my opinion, and my opinion is that CENA SUCKS... And a shitload of other smarks/haters (80% of the fanbase, actually) agree with me.

Anyway, I'm actually looking forward to a WWE PPV for the first time in YEARS. That's saying something.

They way they could do it is tonight a battle royal is announced with the winner getting the WWE title match against Randy Orton and the underdog (say Val Venis) mangers to win it by luck-fluke whatever.

If that is the case I doubt Chris Jericho will be his opponent as it's unlikely they will job him out on his first (and surprise ) match back

So I can see something like Jeff Hardy getting the title match He's good enough to put on a good match and it would be possible he could win but wouldn't lose anything momentum or push wise by losing

Or Mr Kennedy both heels true but that would be match what the fans could think had a equal 50-50 of going either way and wouldn't be a shock or upset if either won

That's a very good assumption.

I think both Hardy and Kennedy could possibly be in the main event with Orton; in a triple threat match.

I think they'll wait a few weeks for Jericho to debut. Like you said, I doubt they'd job him out on his first night back. However, it's still possible that he could debut and win the title.

Exactly. I never thought Jericho would actually show up at No Mercy. They'll continue to drag this save_us mystery out as long as they can, since it's the most interesting thing they have going on.


Orton winning the title sucked IMO. But, I did suspect that he would end up with it, so I'm not too surprised. I was happy when Triple H got it. Sure, he's had it many times before, but I'd rather him be Champion than either Cena or Orton.
