Hi,

I've interviewed 2 Friday the 13th alumni: Danny Steinmann and Paul Kratka for my blog. Today, I have someone from Elm Street. It is Mark Patton, who played Jesse Walsh in Elm Street II. In the interview, we talked about Mark and his relationship with Freddy and Grady. Yes, we also talk about that wild dance he does. The interview link is http://jeffcramer.blogspot.com/2010/04/very-candid-conversation-with-mark.html

Great interview, thanks. I love how long your interviews are.

Great interview, I enjoyed reading it. I never expected him to be so candid. And now I want to see a new Nightmare flick continuing the adventures of Jesse Walsh. And Ken, of course.

Wouldn't Jesse Walsh likely be a bit... dead, you know, considering the ending of Nightmare 2?

Hey, he never died on screen, plus it would seem like Jess-ayh only needed to move out of Springwood to get away. Maybe Clu got a uh...clue, and the Walsh family packed its bags before Freddy was done with Jesse. I mean, Nightmare 5 not so subtly implies that Freddy's coming right back (probably next week, same Freddy-time, same Freddy-channel), but that doesn't mean we should assume Alice and Jacob died.

Of course, no such movie is ever going to happen anyway.

Yes, but the difference is Nightmare 5 didn't end with Alice and Jacob in explicit peril. Jesse, meanwhile... I guess the end of Nightmare 2 is another nightmare? At any rate, considering his misadventures in 2, I can't imagine a reason why Freddy would let Jesse get away if that was a nightmare.

"What is this power of love shit?!" **guts Lisa and Jesse**

Of course, by that same logic, Nancy would have been dead as a doornail at the end of the first one, yet there she is still alive and well in part 3.

Yes and we know that because they brought her back. ;)

All we have to go on is what we have to go on, DM.

Well, as soon as I win the lottery, the first thing I'm gonna do is produce A Nightmare on Elm Street: Jess-ayh's Revenge.

Like hell you are. At least it won't be "Jess-ayh's Revenge".

I am contractually obligated not to say any more.

*I just booed my TV for airing a Not-Nightmare spot.
