Story
In the autumn of 1955, the small town of Riverwood Falls found themselves in a panic when Victor McGrady murdered his wife and children deep within the woods. Victor disappeared but left a tradegy which now has become a legend.
Twenty five years later, a group of friends have decided to visit where the crimes took place but are finding themselves being killed off one by one.

Has Victor McGrady returned or has someone taken their obsession a little too far?


Game
I. There will be certain members from the board involved with the story. If you would like to be a character, please send me a P.M. or you can sign up in here.
II. After each chapter, there will be three scenarios' you can choose from.
Some will feature a character's death or it can completely change the tone of the story.
The scenarios with the most votes will win the round.
III. Each chapter will be posted every week or less, giving me time to write the chapter and make it good for you all.

It's more along the lines of Friday the 13th. Pretty much the way it's played is I will post the chapter along with three different scenarios you guys can choose from. Some of the scenarios will deal with how a character will die (three different deaths) or change the direction of the story.

Whichever scenario has the most votes, will win.

BTW, we have enough members for the story. I'll get started on who will be who and list your roles sometime tonight or tomorrow.

Instead of making the killer along the lines of Jason why not make it someone who lives out in the middle of the woods that people only see once in a blue moon. Sort of like the people in Louisana that live out in those swamps and you don't know they are there until you happen upon them.

Ext. Woods

It's a cold night and the autumn leaves are falling from the trees. One of them, softly falls upon a woman's body, lying on the ground. She lifts her head up from the leaves and is sobbing, awaiting her fate.

She hears loud footsteps coming up from behind and she begins to shake her head.

WOMAN (sobbing): No, please no!

A man, known as Victor McGrady, grabs the woman's head and aggresively drags her body off into the woods.

Cut to:

Ext. House

We SUPERIMPOSE:

November 1st, 1955

We're in the following morning and we see an old house surrounded by police cars and ambulances. Paramedics are coming out of the house with stretchers while police officers are going in.

One of them is Sheriff Murdock who is followed by Deputy Rich and Officer Bill.

Cut to:

Int. House

The walls of the house has blood splattered all over them. A body is on the floor, covered by a white sheet. Sheriff Murdock walks over to it and bends down to get a good look at it.

SHERIFF MURDOCK: Jesus.

The body is a child.

SHERIFF MURDOCK: How old?

DEPUTY RICH: Seven.

SHERIFF MURDOCK: And the other?

DEPUTY RICH: Nine. You don't want to see her, Sheriff.

Sheriff Murdock hesitates at the situation. He stands up and looks around the house, shocked by the recent events. He turns around to face Deputy Rich and Officer Bill.

SHERIFF MURDOCK: Where is McGrady?

DEPUTY RICH: We're not sure.

SHERIFF MURDOCK: Shit.

OFFICER BILL: Uh, Sheriff?

SHERIFF MURDOCK: What is it, Bill?

OFFICER BILL: His wife is missing, as well.

Sheriff Murdock walks over to the window and looks through it, staring straight into the woods' gritty atmosphere.

SHERIFF MURDOCK: Where is he headed?

Cut to:

Ext. Road

A Jeep drives by us, leaving dust in the wind. It drives by a welcome sign that reads "Welcome to Riverwood Falls. Enjoy Your Stay!"

Cut to:

Int. Jeep

We're introduced to three young men, smoking weed and going on a hunting trip. Joshua is the driver while his passengers are Matthew and Brett.

Brett is loading bullets into a rifle.

BRETT: Where the fuck are we?

JOSHUA: Riverwood Falls. Didn't you read the sign?

BRETT: I did but I've never heard of the place.

MATTHEW: Same. Is Riverwood Falls even in the state of Wisconsin?

JOSHUA: It sure is.

MATTHEW: Well, how far away are we from home?

JOSHUA: About an hour, maybe an hour and a half away from home.

BRETT: An hour and a half? What the fuck man.

JOSHUA: What? You guys said you wanted to go someplace new, so here we are...going somewhere new.

Brett is grinning at Joshua.

JOSHUA: What?

BRETT: You're such a fucker. Such a fucker.

Cut to:

Ext. Road

A woman, covered in blood, comes running out of the cornfield and in front of Joshua's jeep. The Jeep slams into her and Joshua loses control, flipping the vehicle over a few times before the vehicle lands inverted.


Choose a Scenario

I. Matthew's body is thrown through the windshield and his throat is slashed by the broken pieces of glass. Both Joshua and Brett are in shock over the situation, leading them to fight over how to resolve the issue. Brett runs away leaving Joshua at the scene.

II. All three of them survive the crash but since the Jeep is destroyed and the woman's body is split in half, they go into the woods hoping to get some help.

III. Brett is the first to wake up from the crash and his seatbelt is on the trigger of the rifle, which is pointed at Joshua's head. Brett does not notice this and accidentally blows off Josh's head. Freaking out, Brett hopes to turn to Matthew for help but he is nowhere to be found in the Jeep.

You have five days to decide. The scenario with the most votes will win.

Ext. Road

Joshua opens his eyes and looks around. He touches his head, feeling the blood dripping from skull. He wakes up Brett, who is sitting beside him.

BRETT:What? What the fuck is going on?

JOSHUA: We, I think we hit someone. We crashed. The Jeep is upside down.

Matthew also awakens from the recent crash. He is distraught.

MATTHEW: What happened?

JOSHUA: We crashed.

MATTHEW: Holy shit, there's fucking blood all over the windshield.

Brett, who is in a panic mode, climbs out of the Jeep and onto the road. He looks around and sees the woman that they hit, whose body is split in half. The lower half of her body is missing.

BRETT: Oh, fuck.

Joshua and Matthew also crawl out of the Jeep, witnessing the horrific crash. Both of them, also begin to panic.

JOSHUA: What, what the fuck are we going to do?

MATTHEW: We have to remain calm. This isn't our fault.

JOSHUA: Says you! This is fucking manslaughter.

BRETT: Matthew's right. The woman ran out of fucking nowhere. We have to look for help.

They all remain quiet for a moment.

JOSHUA: All right, you guys are right. So what do you guys have in mind?

MATTHEW: We go into the woods, look for the nearest house. Call the police. Everything is going to be alright.

They all agree to the situation and begin to walk into the tall haunted trees of the forest.

Choose a Scenario

I.The three find themselves lost in the woods and eventually seperate, where Matthew comes across Victor McGrady's barn.

II. As they are walking through the woods, Joshua decides to change his mind and head back to the Jeep, where he runs into fugitive Victor McGrady, who grabs his jaw and rips it off.

III. Similar to the first scenario but this time, they don't seperate and come across Victor McGrady's house which is now a crime scene.

You have three days to decide. The scenario with the most votes will win.

Joshua, Matthew and Brett drift through the woods and soon enough, they find themselves lost. The sun is hidden by the tall dying trees.

JOSHUA: I can't believe this is happening.

BRETT: Says you. We wouldn't have been in this mess if you were paying attention.

JOSHUA: Fuck you Brett. The woman came out of fucking nowhere!

MATTHEW: Let's just focus on where we're going so we can get this situation solved.

BRETT: This situation solved? This is not a fucking situation. This is a major fucking problem. We could go to fucking prison for this.

JOSHUA: I think we're lost.

BRETT: We're not fucking lost. We should be coming up to something soon.

JOSHUA: Do you know this area? Have you been here before?

Brett finally calms down and has no answer.

JOSHUA: Then shut the mother fuck up.

They keep on walking, all believing they're now lost in the haunting woods. After a few minutes, something catches Joshua's eye.

JOSHUA: Wait a minute. What the fuck is that?

They've come across Victor McGrady's home which has become surrounded by police officers.

MATTHEW: What the hell happened here?

JOSHUA: It looks like a murder. I don't know for sure, all I see is cops.

Brett turns around and starts to run away. Both Matthew and Joshua turn around to stop him.

MATTHEW: Brett!

JOSHUA: Where the fuck are you going?

Brett stops and confronts them.

BRETT: You two can go down for this if you want but I'm getting the fuck out of here.

Brett runs off into the woods as Matthew and Joshua decide their awaited fate.


Choose a Scenario

I. Brett finds himself lost in the woods and comes face to face with Victor McGrady, who is holding a pickaxe. Before Brett can yell for help, Victor shoves the pickaxe through his temple..

II. Similar to the first scenario, but this time Victor grabs Brett's jaw and rips it off with his bare hands.

III. Matthew and Joshua can't find themselves to talk to the police so they wait for them to leave McGrady's house and decide to check the house out instead..

I dunno, this seems pretty much like a write-out, so Option 1 does indeed seem best... it's either he gets offed in gruesome detail for the reader's pleasure or someone finds his decayign corpse stashed elsewhere later.

Option 1 sounds alright. Better it be the frist death to get the ball rolling.

Only reason option 2 wouldn't work is because we saw at the end of Saw 6 part of his jaw gets ripped off and he survives supposedly.

On option 3 who in there right mind would wait right there for the cops to leave when they could get caught with no alibi as to why they're in the woods hiding. Even if there were caught there only alibi they could come up with is that there vehicle crashed and if they tried to explain why they crashed it would make it look like they're hiding something.

So I go for option 1.
