This was popular on the old board and I forget who did this thread, but I liked it. So ask, and maybe someone knows.

Whatever happened with that Friday the 13th Computer Game that one dude was doing on the old board? Did he ever finished that? I forgot to keep up on the thread and then the whole thing nuked, so...

I know some of you might remember it, and some of you might not, but there's the ever trusty Kingdom of Loathing (http://www.kingdomofloathing.com/). I tend to start and stop, and I've lost a couple of characters due to stagnation, but the game is mighty fun.

Also, we've got Urban Dead (http://www.urbandead.com/), a text/html based zombie RPG. I lost interest in it after a while because the game got stale. I've been hoping they'd update it with some graphics and maybe add more features, but last time I went there it was pretty much the same.

And finally, we've got The Battle for Wesnoth (http://www.wesnoth.org/) is a multi-platform strategy game (which I assume runs along the lines of Warcraft and Age of Empires) that is open source and free for download.

I haven't played it yet, but I'm planning on downloading it tomorrow and giving it a go. I thought others might like to try it, too.

It's crimbo time in KOL. Good time to play. Don't play anywhere as much as usual but this is the time to play. Could make a killing with all the toy parts from crimbo a couple of years ago.

Here's a game I've been playing every now and then:

Zombies (http://crazymonkeygames.com/Endless-Zombie-Rampage.html)

It starts off slow though as your experience points takes a while to build up before you can start making some purchases. By the third level though you should have enough to buy a magnum and from there, it gets even faster.
