I've only worked on this for a few days, so I haven't gotten incredibly far, but I'm going to go ahead and post the beginning of it tomorrow morning, but I wanted to get the ball rolling before then.
Basically, the story is a continuation of the reboot, and so it'll deal with the characters of Clay & Whitney, with Whitney basically trying to find some sort of resolve with the issue. It's been two years, and there's been absolutely no sign of Jason, leaving Whitney distraught. Clay is trying to help her through it, but she won't let go of the belief that he's still alive.
At the same time, Camp Crystal Lake is being re-opened. Because there was no real trace of the bodies found after the massacre, its been decided they're going to re-open it, so that's where the new characters come into the fray.
What happened to good ol' Jason Voorhees, you might ask? Trust me, you'll see, but for now, let's just say he'll be coming back more vengeful and pissed off than he was even in the reboot. :X

I think it would be a cool idea to have Clay and Whitney locked up for the murders of their friends because of the lack of evidence pointing to Jason. Just my opinon. But keep writing and share

It sounds like a good idea, but remember that Camp Crystal Lake is worn, dilapidated and would take a miracle to rebuild.

Well Scabs, he did mention it takes place 2 years after. Anythings possible to getting everything reconditioned.
That would show alot of patience on Jasons part to wait 2 years and let all the construction crews come and go all that time. Perhaps they used some illegals for the build and if a few came up missing during the build no one knows or is able to say anything?..... You're welcome.

Actually, when I say rebuild they didn't actually tear it down and start from scratch, they've been assigned with fixing it up from the way it is. As for Jason....well, there's a reason he hasn't made a move on anyone that's come there, but you'll see as the story unfolds.
And I really meant to come on here this morning and post it after working on it a bit more, but I got sidetracked, so I'll have it up tonight for sure.

FRIDAY THE 13TH, 2009
Clay and Whitney Miller are seen at Crystal Lake with Jason Voorhees' presumably dead body. As Clay looks over to Whitney, he turns his attention to Jason's motionless body.
Bending down, he pushes Jason into the water as Whitney begins to sob, and he then kicks his hockey mask into the water. Whitney then drops the locket of Jason and his mother into the water.
Whitney begins to sob harder as Clay moves toward her, but before he can reach her Jason breaks through the plank boards and grabs her into the water.
Screams are then heard in a hospital as Clay tries to calm her down.
CLAY
Hey, hey, are you okay?
WHITNEY
Yeah...just a bad dream.
CLAY
Listen, it's over. He's dead. He can't hurt you or anyone else anymore.
As Clay and Whitney converse, a police officer comes up to them.
WHITNEY
Did you find his body?
POLICE OFFICER
No, we didn't find anything. We searched everywhere and didn't find his body.
WHITNEY
Did you check the lake?
POLICE OFFICER
Yes, and nothing has been found.
Whitney begins to sob as Clay grabs her and holds on to her, in an attempt to stop her from crying.
Road to Crystal Lake
Three years pass after the events that took place in 2009. Because Jason's body wasn't found, and many of his victim's bodies were never found, the investigation didn't last too long.
Now, three years after the gruesome murders by Jason, Camp Crystal Lake is now being re-opened, and five young adults are headed down to Crystal Lake to work as camp counselors.
Unaware of the past events of the campsite, they view it as simply being a run down camp ground that needs to be fixed.
The group consists of Travis, Lisa, Matt, Danielle, and Shawn, who we see pulling up to the camp, and exiting the car.
TRAVIS
This place looks like shit.
MATT
That's why we're here. This place needs to be fixed up.
TRAVIS
Yeah, yeah, I know.
The four young adults venture into the house and look around, all seemingly disgusted by the putrid smell of the house, as well as how rotten the house has become.
TRAVIS
God, it looks even worse on the inside. This place is disgusting.
SHAWN
Stop complaining, nobody asked you to sign up, jackass.
Travis jokingly puts up the middle finger in response to Shawn, who laughs it off and continues searching the house.
While the other three continue to look through the cabin, Matt and Lisa begin to converse.
LISA
I don't think I'll be able to make it here for two weeks.
MATT
Don't worry about it, I'm here. Besides, think of the good we'll be doing by fixing this place up. Kids will finally be able to go camping here again.
LISA
I guess.
Matt gently kisses Lisa, and they begin to look around the cabin a little more, before exiting the cabin.
SHAWN
So, Matt, you never exactly mentioned where we'll be sleeping.
MATT
There's a cabin a few miles away from here. I was told it's new, so I guess that's one less thing Travis will have to bitch about.
Everyone laughs at the comment, and enters the car. Meanwhile, we see Jared sitting in a chair at a house, and flipping through various TV channels.
As he continues to look through the channels, Whitney enters the room, and Jared immediately takes notice.
JARED
Hey, you finally up?
WHITNEY
Yeah.
Whitney begins to hold her head after reluctantly answering.
JARED
Another nightmare?
WHITNEY
Yeah.
Jared lays down the TV remote as Whitney sits down, and attempts to converse with her to reassure her everything is okay.
JARED
Whitney, I understand that you went through a lot, but it all happened two years ago. There's been no sign of Jason anywhere, and if there was, he's not going to come after you.
WHITNEY
(sobbing)
How do you know that? I was chained up for weeks because I reminded him of his mother. He was desperate to cling to anything that reminded him of her.
JARED
There's no possible way he could find you. And if he could, I'm here, and I'm not about to let anything happen to you.
Jared reaches out to hug a sobbing Whitney, as a news report comes in.
TV REPORTER
As reported weeks ago Camp Crystal Lake is currently being worked on to be re-opened. Even after the events two years ago, authorities have deemed it okay for the Christies to re-open the camp, citing that Jason Voorhees is dead and buried.
WHITNEY
It's happening again, isn't it?
JARED
No, he's dead.
WHITNEY
I wish I could believe that, I really do, but I don't. There was no trace of his body anywhere. I have to go there....to be sure.
JARED
There's no point in going back there. We need to make that place as distant a memory as possible.
WHITNEY
I just want to be sure. It's been two years and I still haven't gotten an answer. I need an answer or else this is just going to haunt me for the rest of my life.
JARED
If you really feel you need to go, I'll go with you.
WHITNEY
Thank you.
Meanwhile, back at the cabin, Travis and Shawn are smoking pot while the others are preparing to work on the camp ground.
MATT
Travis....you coming?
TRAVIS
Nah, I'm gonna start tomorrow.
DANIELLE
I think I'm going to stay too.
MATT
Alright, we'll be back shortly.
Matt, Lisa, and Shawn exit the cabin and head to the camp ground. Shawn shows signs of paranoia while outside, continually asking about strange sounds in the night.
The trio enter the cabin, and Matt sets down a bag of tools next to supplies.
MATT
Tonight we're starting with the simple tasks. Pick something and get to work.
Matt begins cleaning the floors, and collecting garbage as Lisa begins to clean the walls. Shawn begins to look around, and makes his way toward the entrance to Jason's former tunnels.
As time continues to pass he explores the tunnels, amazed and confused by what he sees left of the burned mess.
MATT
Shawn, where are you?
SHAWN
Down here in the tunnels!
MATT
Well, we're heading back to the camp.
SHAWN
I'll catch up later.
Matt and Lisa exit the camp as Shawn continues to explore the tunnel.
MATT
Holy shit, this place is fucked up.
Matt then hears a noise, and shines a flashlight in the darkness, but doesn't see anything. He inches closer to the darkness, and is relieved to see nothing.
As signs in relief an apparently groggy Jason steps up behind him.
Unaware of the figure behind him, he is grabbed by the back of the neck and repeatedly stabbed in the back.
As Shawn gasps for air, Jason tightly grips the machete and stabs Shawn in the back of the head.
Jason begins to walk and is somewhat stumbling, and stops against the wall to shake his head in order to further get himself together.
Jason falls to the ground, and fades back into unconsciousness.
I like it, but who is this Jared character? Don't you mean Clay?
I don't like the groggy Jason thing. Why does he fall to the ground after killing Shawn? He must be healed of his wounds by now. It is two years later.
I do like how you are taking the camp being reopened by the Christies from the original.

@Rich. Agreed about groggy Jason. He has had time to heal. It's been two years. I think this Jared guy is Whitneys new boyfriend. Vzilla mentions Clay in the beginning, so I'm sure we'll see him again later. In regards to the Christie's, since I considered the previous movie a remake and not a sequel, I think it's no problem having them there.
@Vzilla. It's good so far. Besides groggy Jason, the only other thing that urks me is the newscaster knowing about Jason and the murders. IMO, if the cops didn't find anything I doubt they would share details with the press. So I would think they would say something like "eligid attacks" and not give any names. But good work so far. Keep it up. You're making me want to stop with my Halloween book and go back to what I was doing for my book Friday the 13th: Winter Vacation.
Jason isn't still hurt, he's just drunk.

It's basically her boyfriend, and it's like they're going out to the camp, but Clay has no idea what's going on, so yeah, you hit the nail on the head. And I saw it as more of a remake of the first four, so I figured it'd be nice to throw in a reference to the first two.

Lol, thanks for all the positive feedback, and Jason is groggy because this is his first time killing. After suffering from the woodchipper & the stab to the chest with the machete, he was in a comatose state, and reawakens when Shawn comes down. It's meant to be one of those things that turn your head because he reawakens right in time for friday the thirteenth.
Lastly, with the press, when I added in that Jason was dead, I meant that as in the reporter was referring to Jason as a child when he drowned. The cops don't believe Whitney & Clay's claims that they were attacked by Jason, and since there was no proof with a body, they feel even more inclined to believe it was someone else.
ADDED:

Whitney's boyfriend, I wasn't sure how to go about the idea, but I added in there. Not sure why I used the name Jared though.....

He's just reawakened, and this Jason is still human, to an extent. I kind of wanted to play on that, but at the same time give him somewhat of a supernatural aura as the story unfolds.
I do like how you are taking the camp being reopened by the Christies from the original.
I figured it'd be a nice reference, thanks.

Return to Crystal Lake
Whitney is seen packing her belongings to return to Crystal Lake when Clay walks in.
CLAY
So, you were just going to leave without telling me?
WHITNEY
Yes, because I knew you'd try to stop us from going.
CLAY
He's gone, Whitney, there's been no sign of him for two years.
WHITNEY
That's not enough for me. I need to go to get this out of my head. Are you coming with me?
CLAY
(reluctantly)
Yes.
Back at Crystal Lake the four young adults are busy working on the cabin. Matt is working on nailing in new boards on the outside of the cabin, when he's approached by Travis.
TRAVIS
Dude, how long are we going to be here? How long is this really going to take?
MATT
Bare in mind this place hasn't been opened in decades, so it's going to take a few weeks.
TRAVIS
Fuck...dude, I can't take this.
MATT
What....you afraid of manual labor? Boo-hoo. Get back to work.
Travis sighs heavily and walks off as Matt puts down his hammer and enters the house with Lisa and Danielle.
MATT
How far along are you guys?
DANIELLE
I've rounded up just about all of the trash here.
LISA
Yeah, and I'm almost done cleaning up the place.
MATT
Alright, that should be good enough for today. We'll pick up everything tomorrow, it's getting late.
DANIELLE
Has anyone seen Shawn? I haven't heard or seen him all day. I'm a little worried.
MATT
He's probably playing around in the woods somewhere. He always likes to mess with everyone so I wouldn't worry too much.
The trio leave out of the house, and as they walk away, a figure, none other than Jason is watching them.
He continues to watch them, and steps out of the cabin. Matt whispers in Lisa's ear, and she smiles and laughs as they continue to walk.
Lisa then begins to develop an uneasy feeling, and looks back, but sees nothing.
Jason is seen back in his lair looking at a wall with a spear on it. He grabs the spear, and straps it around his chest and back.
Looking down, he also sees a hunting knife, which he also picks up and stores away.
Next we see Whitney zipping up her bag, and exiting her room to enter the bathroom. She opens a cabinet, and grabs a bottle of pills.
She briefly stares at the bottle, before opening it and swallowing a pill.
Whitney stores the pill bottle back in the cabinet, and closes it, and sees Jason behind her.
Startled, she lets out a shriek and turns around, but sees nothing, and turns back toward the cabinet.
Whitney briefly laughs at her own paranoia, and begins to wash her face with warm water. She then picks up a towel and begins to walk out of the bathroom and bumps into Clay, which startles her.
CLAY
Sorry.
WHITNEY
It's okay.
CLAY
You ready to go?
WHITNEY
Yeah.
At Crystal Lake, the sun is beginning to set, and night is about to loom over the camp. Inside of a cabin not far from Crystal Lake, four young adults are sitting around, with Matt about to tell a story as they consume drinks.
MATT
Alright, just so we're clear, everyone's aware of what tomorrow is, right?
DANIELLE
What is it?
MATT
Friday the 13th.
TRAVIS
So?
MATT
So? You don't know what happened here?
TRAVIS
No, I don't. Enlighten me.
MATT
In 1980 it was said that Jason Voorhees drowned at this very camp. A few days later, on a Friday the 13th, she began a killing spree, but was decapitated by one survivor. Legend says Jason rose from his watery grave after witnessing the death of his mother, and he grew up to be a killer, stalking these very woods to kill anyone who enters his wilderness.
TRAVIS
That story is bullshit. How could he have seen her death if he drowned?
MATT
No one knows. Some say he never really drowned and made it to one of the banks....other's say he was never normal and simply didn't drown.
TRAVIS
And you believe that? Seriously that is impossible.
MATT
Hey, I'm just telling the story.
TRAVIS
Yeah, sure.
MATT
I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
The gang laughs as Danielle gets up to leave the cabin.
TRAVIS
Hey, beautiful, where are you going?
DANIELLE
(laughing)
Out.
Danielle opens the door and leaves out. As she walks she hears rustling in bushes not far from her. She immediately stops, and looks at the bushes, but doesn't see them move again, and continues to walk after cautiously looking around.
Inside the cabin, Lisa and Matt converse as Travis sits on the couch, drinking a beer.
LISA
Why don't we go upstairs?
MATT
Mmmm....sounds disgusting.
LISA
I know.
Matt and Lisa walk upstairs, as Travis stands up off the couch and heads out the door.
Danielle, still walking, comes upon the lake, and begins to undress, still hearing noises, but ultimately ignoring them. Continuing to undress, she then begins to skinny dip, unaware that she's being watched.

Pamela. With the way the reboot set up everything, it seems like she began her killing spree days after Jason drowned, considering he was there to witness her murder. It didn't seem the same as in the original series where he drowns around 1957 and comes back 20+ years later, especially since the reboot is grounded more into reality.

I know, he's not too familiar with the story, and doesn't remember it all, so the story is intentionally worded that way, and that's why Travis comments on how it doesn't make sense, and it's kind of not effective on them because you don't see anyone really scared, and everyone carries on with what they were going to do.
Return to Crystal Lake...unaware that she was being watched.Ch,ch,ch...a,a,a,a ....

Danielle begins swimming, and seems to be relaxed by swimming, until she hears louder noises.
DANIELLE
Hello?! Is anyone there?
Danielle begins to swim toward the shore to get out of the water, when Travis hand reaches out to her clothes, grabbing them.
Danielle notices Travis there, and chases after him fully nude.
DANIELLE
Can I have my clothes back?
TRAVIS
(laughing)
I'm still thinking about it.
DANIELLE
Seriously, this isn't funny.
Travis drops her pants on the ground, and she quickly picks them up and puts them on.
DANIELLE
Why are you even out here?
TRAVIS
I wanted some alone time with you. I've been trying to get your attention since we've been here, and it seems like you've been ignoring me a lot.
Travis, still holding her shirt, moves closer to her, and begins to kiss her.
TRAVIS
You want to go to my room when we get back to the cabin?
DANIELLE
Yes.
Sex and Secrets
As Travis and Danielle head back to the cabin, we're taken back to Clay, Jared, and Whitney, who are still headed to Crystal Lake, and Clay is seen driving.
JARED
Whitney, I've been wondering, when you have these nightmares, what happens in them?
WHITNEY
It's hard for me to truly say, most of the times I only remember fragments of the dreams, and I've been unable to piece them together.
JARED
It's going to be okay. After this you'll hopefully have him out of your mind together.
While Jared attempts to comfort Whitney, Clay reluctantly speaks.
CLAY
I never really wanted to admit this but...I've always had some doubt about Jason being dead too.
WHITNEY
Why do you doubt it?
CLAY
Because even after everything that happened in the barn, he still managed to grab you into the lake. Even after I was able to get you free he still kept coming....
JARED
Wait, what do you mean you she was grabbed into the lake?
CLAY
We went to toss his body into the lake and he came back one last time. I was able to stab him with my knife, but he kept coming until I stabbed him in the head.
JARED
Then he should be undeniably dead.
CLAY
If he's not then I'll make sure he is this time.
Back at the camp Danielle and Travis have made it back to the cabin, and are in his room kissing. Danielle pushes Travis on the bed and begins to take off her clothes, as both are unaware that Jason is outside of the window watching.
As they begin to have sex, we are taken to Lisa and Matt, who are lying in bed with no clothes on.
LISA
I told you we could make it fun here.
Matt chuckles, as they begin to kiss.
Back with Danielle and Travis, they continue to have sex as Jason enters the cabin and heads up the stairs. Jason watches them through the cracked door, much to Jason's dismay, who clenches both of his fists in anger.
Danielle groans loader and loader as she stays atop of Travis, and Jason moves from in front of the door as Danielle lets out one loud groan as she orgasms.
Travis sighs heavily while smiling, and then begins to get up.
DANIELLE
Where are you going?
TRAVIS
To take a shower and go to bed. I'm beat.
DEATH AND DESPAIR
Travis leaves the room as Danielle lies in the bed, smiling. Danielle reaches over to grab her phone off a drawer as she flips it open and looks through it.
Danielle gets up with the bed sheet wrapped around her and walks across the room. As she makes her way into a mirror, a flash of lightning strikes the room, causing her to look back.
She turns back around to the mirror, as lightning flashes in the dark room once again, and she begins to hear a noise.
Chi chi chi ha ha ha ha.....
Danielle looks around the room, and doesn't see anything, and continues to look in the mirror. The noise begins again as Danielle ignores it.
Chi chi chi ha ha ha ha.....
Lightning cracks across the sky once again, and this time Jason appears behind her. Before she can fully react, Jason drives a spear into the back of her head.
With the spear rammed into the mirror, Jason forcefully pulls it upward, effectively splitting her head in two.
Danielle's body falls to the ground, as Jason stares at it with absolutely no remorse.
At this point Travis remains in the shower, and like Lisa and Matt, are unaware of the events that have just transpired.
Jason picks up the mutilated body and walks out of the cabin and into the woods.
The next morning, Friday the 13th, begins with the trio wondering about the disappearance of Danielle and Shawn. The barely woke trio tries to converse about what's going on.
LISA
Okay, Matt, I'm really worried about Shawn now. He's been gone since the night we got here, and now Danielle is gone. This is really weird.
TRAVIS
I was with Danielle last night up until I took a shower. Shawn loves to play pranks as others expense. My guess is the asshole is out in the woods waiting for us to find him, and he probably convinced Danielle to join in on last night.
MATT
Alright, look, we're going to get a little work done and if they don't show themselves by the time we're done we'll look for them. Sound like a plan?
LISA
Yeah, that works.
TRAVIS
I'm game. Let's get this shit done!
While the trio prepares to get ready for more work, Clay, Jared, and Whitney are still headed to Crystal Lake, but has stopped at a gas station.
Whitney and Jared remain outside while Clay goes inside to buy gas.
CLAY
Hey, I'd like twenty on pump three.
Clay hands the store clerk the money as he works the register.
CLERK
Okay, you're set. And I just want to warn ya, if you see Crazy Ralph, don't pay him any mind.
CLAY
Who's Crazy Ralph?
CLERK
(laughing)
Trust me, son, you'll know him when you see him.
CLAY
Uh...okay.
Clay begins to load a bag full of other items he bought as Jared tries to talk to Whitney, whom seems troubled.
JARED
You okay?
WHITNEY
The nightmares are getting worse. I'll just be glad when this headache is over.
JARED
I agree. It may sound selfish but I feel like this whole thing has been preventing us from being where we could be, and I'll be glad when it's over so I'll be closer to you.
Clay approaches the duo as they stand by the car, and as Clay reaches them an older man comes up to them, who they don't know is Crazy Ralph.
CRAZY RALPH
You kids going to Camp Crystal Lake, ain't ya?
WHITNEY
Yeah....how did you know?
CRAZY RALPH
That's where everyone who comes 'round here heads out to, and they never come back.
WHITNEY
You're aware of Jason?
CRAZY RALPH
Of course. I'm a messenger of God, and I'm here to tell you that no good will come from going to that camp.
CLAY
Okay, look, that's enough. We really need to get out of here.
Clay steps up to a gas pump as Ralph takes a few steps back.
CRAZY RALPH
You're all doomed! You're all doomed!
The trio glaze at Ralph who gets on his bike and rides away.
CLAY
I think we just met Crazy Ralph.
WHITNEY
(laughing)
Crazy who?
CLAY
Oh...uh...the store clerk told me about him.
The three of them share a brief laugh. At the camp, Matt, Lisa, and Travis are hard at work fixing the cabin up even more.
Matt completely finishes fixing up the entire front of the cabin, and steps a few feet back, sighing in relief at his work.
Inside the cabin Travis and Lisa are rounding up any leftover garbage in the house, and Travis heads outside, beginning to clean up the trash all around the camp area.
Down in the tunnels, Jason is seen sharpening his machete as he listens to the movement above, completely aware of the trespassers above, but deciding not to strike at that particular moment.
Clay, now driving, stops in front of a familiar house of an older woman, whom once warned Clay about missing persons in the area.
The three of them exit the car, as Whitney questions why they are there.
WHITNEY
Why are we here?
CLAY
When I was searching for you I ran into this woman, and she acted like she knew something about Jason, but she wouldn't tell me anything I could really use.
The trio approach the door, and knock on it. They are soon met by the older woman, who seems somewhat surprised to see them there.
OLDER WOMAN
What do you want?
CLAY
I know that you know something about Jason Voorhees.
The older woman tries to close the door, but Clay stops her.
CLAY
Please, you have to help us, we're trying to stop more innocent people from dying.
OLDER WOMAN
(reluctantly)
Come in!
MATT
Alright, we've done a hell of a job for today, but today isn't over yet. Let's go look for Danielle and Shawn, and then head back to the cabin.
TRAVIS
Fuck yeah!
Matt, Lisa, and Travis begin walking together, calling out for Shawn and Danielle, but receiving no answer.
During their search it gets darker and darker outside, and they still find no trace of either friend.
TRAVIS
Hey, guys, I'm going to split up and look for them. We could probably cover more ground that way.
Travis walks in the opposite direction, and looks back at Matt and Lisa. Once they are a good enough distance away, and puts his hand into his pocket, pulling out a joint.
Travis puts the joint in his mouth and lights it up.
TRAVIS
Oh, fuck yeah, that's better.
Travis, puffing on the joint consistently, begins to walk around the woods.
TRAVIS
Shawn! Hey asshole, come out, the game's are over!
Travis isn't met with a response, and as he continues to smoke the joint, he begins to laugh.
TRAVIS
Seriously, this isn't funny anymore! You're fucking up me having a good time!
He begins to walk around more, and then stops in front of a tree, still smoking the joint. He then begins to hear a noise, and becomes more paranoid.
Chi chi chi ha ha ha ha....
TRAVIS
Who's there? Shawn is that you?
Chi chi chi ha ha ha ha...
TRAVIS
Fucking idiot. Shawn, I'm going to kill you my--
Before Travis can finish his sentence, he's struck in the chest by an arrow, which pins up to a tree, causing him to cough up blood, and also causing blood to spew from his chest.
TRAVIS
Fuck! What the hell is going on?!
Travis attempts to remove the arrow, and is unsuccessful in doing so. He quickly looks up, and is immediately hit in the eye with an arrow, instantly killing him.
From at least thirty feet away, we see Jason lowering his bow and arrow, and then walking towards Travis' body as he drops his bow and arrow.
Upon reaching the body, he pulls the arrow out of his eye and chest forcefully, causing blood to gush out of his head and chest.
The body drops down to the ground, and Jason takes out his machete, and begins to brutally hack at the body.
I'm about to try and kick the story up a notch, because it's coming to a point where shit is about to really hit the fan and things are going to be revealed, but this is what I worked on tonight. Enjoy!

I like at the end here that we actually see Jason start to play with a body. Something we've always know him to do, but never seen in camera.

Thanks, I figured it'd be best to make him as angry and brutal as possible, and I'm really happy with what's been written so far.
More will be posted in the coming days.

Matt and Lisa continue to search for Danielle and Shawn, unaware of the grisly death Travis just suffered.
LISA
What do you think they're up to?
MATT
Probably trying to scare everyone by pretending to be lost. Trust me, it's nothing to really worry about.
LISA
I hope not. I've just had a really weird feeling about today. What with it being friday the 13th and all.
MATT
Oh, don't tell me you really believe in superstitions.
LISA
In a way, I do. I mean, I don't want to be negative but this is said to be a really unlucky day, and both Danielle and Shawn are missing.
MATT
They're just messing around, I told you there's nothing to worry about.
LISA
Think about it, Matt, Shawn has been missing for two days, and not once did we look for him. I think there's a possibility he never even came out of the tunnel. Something is going on here.
MATT
Well, if there is something going on, we'll get to the bottom of it soon.
LISA
I think we should check that tunnel. That's probably the best place to look now.
MATT
Okay, we will.
As Matt and Lisa head to the tunnel to further investigate, Clay, Jared, and Whitney are trying to get answers out of the mysterious older woman.
CLAY
Okay, to cut to the chase, when I came here a couple of years ago you mentioned someone wanting to be left alone, and I know that someone is Jason. But want I want to know is, how do you know of him? What connection do you have to him?
OLDER WOMAN
As you may know, Jason was said to have drowned in 1980, and his mother, Pamela Voorhees, went on a rampage, killing nearly a dozen people before being decapitated. Jason, however, did not drown, and he went on to witness his mother's death. As a child I and some of the other town locals took notice of him, and helped him in whatever little ways we could.
JARED
I can understand helping a child in need, but that doesn't explain the murders and why you've basically been in support of them.
OLDER WOMAN
I don't condone what that boy does, but he wants to be left alone. When he was a boy he was teased and bullied by other children. Then he saw his own mother die. He needs to be left alone, but people just ain't smart enough to avoid this area.
WHITNEY
Look, a couple years ago, when I went missing, and my brother found me, I stabbed Jason in the heart, and his head was grinded into a wood chipper, which we thought killed him. He pulled me into a lake, and Clay fended him off, and he seemed to actually be dead after the last attack. I was won---
OLDER WOMAN
He's not dead.
WHITNEY
What?
OLDER WOMAN
He's not dead. Jason was never normal, there was always something about him that no one else ever seemed to notice....except his mother of course.
CLAY
What do you mean? No one could survive that kind of damage. How is that possible?
OLDER WOMAN
I don't know, but he ain't dead. The best thing you all can do is to get on out of here.
WHITNEY
We have to stop him.
OLDER WOMAN
You need to get out of here. If he's already seen you before like you told me, he's not going to be happy to see his look-alike mother back. Get out of here while you can.
Clay, Jared, and Whitney, looking worried and somewhat disappointed, leave the woman's house, and enter the car.
Upon entering the car they immediately drive off, and Matt and Lisa continue their search, coming upon the cabin of Crystal Lake, and entering it.
Matt comes upon the hatch leading to the tunnels, and enters it along with Lisa.
LISA
Wow, this place is really creepy.
MATT
Yeah, you're telling me.
Matt and Lisa look around the camp some more, with them going separate ways. Lisa looks into a room, and is horrified by what she finds.
LISA
Oh my God!
Lisa covers her mouth as Matt rushes up behind her.
MATT
What? What's wrong?
Matt steps up further, and then sees both Shawn and Danielle's mutilated corpses.
MATT
Let's get out of here!
Before Matt and Lisa can leave, they see someone jump down the hatch, but before Jason can see them, they run in the other direction.
Parallel to events that proceeded them, they come across a path leading to the bus, and enter it, in which they see the burnt remains of the path, and continue to head down it until reaching the bus, where they stop.
MATT
We're going to stay here. Hopefully he won't find us, and we'll be able to figure out a way out of here.
Lisa begins to sob at the loss of her friends, as Matt sighs heavily in frustration and paces around.
Due to the hatch being open, Jason is aware that his tunnel has visitors, and carefully looks around, but sees nothing.
Meanwhile, Clay, Whitney, and Jared are in the car, and near Crystal Lake.
WHITNEY
Okay, I don't get this. How is it possible that Jason could return after taking so much abuse?
CLAY
Just like she said, there has to be something really abnormal about him. I don't know what it is, and I really don't care. I just want to get rid of this bastard once and for all.
JARED
If Jason really is alive, wouldn't the best thing to do be to get as far away from this place as possible? It's not like he's going to look for you.
WHITNEY
That's not the point. He keep me chained up for weeks after killing many of my friends, as well as a lot of other people. I don't want what I went through to happen to anyone else.
Clay pulls up to the cabin where the five young adults once resided, and the trio exit the car.
CLAY
I don't remember this cabin being here before.
WHITNEY
It must've recently been put together, because I saw on the news they were re-opening this place.
CLAY
Just great....
The trio cautiously approach the door, and notices it isn't locked. Clay slowly opens it and enters, as Whitney and Jared follow him into the cabin.
Clay takes a flashlight out of his pocket, and turns it on before handing it to Jared.
CLAY
You two look upstairs, I'll look around down here.
Whitney and Jared head upstairs as Clay takes out another flashlight and begins to look around downstairs.
Jared comes upon a room once going up the stairs, and slowly opens it, and sees nothing. He shines the flashlight around, making sure no one is there.
JARED
Hello, is anyone here at all? Hello?
Jared and Whitney look in two other rooms, but find nothing.
Downstairs, Clay continues to look around, and is somewhat nervous about the situation.
He hears a noise, and quickly shines the flashlight behind him, only to see Whitney and Jared, which causes him to sigh in relief.
JARED
We didn't find anyone upstairs, but it seems like people have been here.
Clay quickly runs out of the cabin, and goes to his car trunk, with Whitney and Jared following behind him, confused as to what he's doing.
Clay opens the trunk, and takes out a gun, which he proceeds to load.
WHITNEY
What are you doing?
CLAY
I'm not taking any chances. If Jason really is here, I want to be prepared this time. If people have been here recently and Jason is still alive, there's every chance they're either trying to get away from him now or...
JARED
Or what?
CLAY
They're already dead. But we can't stand around and waste time. Let's go!
The trio take off into the woods in search of Jason, while Lisa and Matt continue to hide in the turned over bus, unaware of what to do next.
Alright, here's the next part. I actually ended up working on this tonight, and didn't expect to, but here it is.

It's getting really good. Only thing is I wouldn't have the old woman say Pamela went on a rampage. She doesn't seem like a very sophisticated woman and I don't know if she knows what "rampage" means, let alone working it into a sentance. And I don't know how I feel about having the town's people helping Jason. It could work, but it could also be a big stretch.

I tried to give the older woman some intelligence, she didn't come across as idiotic during her small amount of screentime in a reboot. She's not the smartest person there is, but I didn't want to make her a hick.
As for the town's people helping Jason, it was only a few of them including the older woman, and they were all meant to have been involved in Jason's life when he was a boy, because they were close friends with Pamela, and they wanted to help him any way they could, but as he got older, and he learned to fend for himself more, they didn't need to do much.

You're now okay in my book mang. ;) You love Zombie's movies but don't put his elements in your own scripts. Kudos

Then IMO it could work... if you would have had it as the townspeople bringing Jason food and clothes ever since that day, then I would have said, "No. Horrible idea. How's he going to become the hunter he is if people bring him food? And that would also mean Jason doesn't attack the natives, but only tourists. Lame"
But if it's a couple people who did it only when he was young and that's it... it could work.

In some ways, I am heavily inspired by Zombie but no, I don't feel the need to add a bunch of hicks. Sometimes I'll make character intentionally stupid or dimwitted, but in this case I found it best to give her some sort of intelligence, and also a mystery, because even though Clay, Jared, and Whitney talk to her, her name isn't revealed.
Then IMO it could work... if you would have had it as the townspeople bringing Jason food and clothes ever since that day, then I would have said, "No. Horrible idea. But if it's a couple people who did it only when he was young and that's it... it could work.
I got the idea from some discussions I've had on message boards with people who agreed it'd be cool if Jason got some type of help as a child. I didn't want the natives to be these evil people who were helping him kill people, and they don't like that he does, but as ol' Monty once said in TCM:TB: "I don't get involved in his affairs."
With Clay and Whitney seeing Jasons carnage first hand, I don't see them just laughing off Crazy Ralphs warnings. Ralph would be another person to question about what he knows if anything about Jason just like they did with the old woman. They would want some more answers from him at least, and try to talk more to him before he rides away.
Voorheeszilla
12-24-2009, 12:23 AM
I only really wanted Ralph to have a small appearance this time, and maybe if I do a follow up to this he'll have somewhat of a larger role. I tried figuring out ways to implement him further in the story, but nothing really worked when I wrote it, so I re-did it without Ralph.
It's good so far.
I like the nods back to the original and part 2. Jason being groggy seemed a little strange until you explained what you were going for.
I also like the idea that Whitney is hallucinating, like Tommy from 5. Should play that up a little more.
I understand what you were going for with the old woman, but i think Jason should be more an object of fear.
I also like that Clay came armed, though if anyone had brought a gun i would have guessed it would have been Whitney.
Voorheeszilla
12-24-2009, 05:43 AM
Thanks, and my intention was to throw in as many nods as possible. I think I've thrown nods to parts one, two, five, and twelve thus far, and I'll likely put more in.
I definitely agree that Jason should be an object of fear, which is actually why I didn't want to explain why he's the way he is. I was about to add in an explanation, but thought about what was done with Myers in H6 when they tried to say he was being controlled and wasn't under his own will, and I didn't want to make a similar mistake or mishap, so I just took out any explanation.
As for why Clay came armed, I'm going to reveal that, but the thing about Whitney is that she's basically been living in fear. Over the last few years she hasn't even left the house much because of fear. Obviously we, as fans, knowing who Jason is, know he's not going to actually look for her, but she doesn't know that, and thus she's really living in fear, despite Clay and her boyfriend constantly trying to reassure her and help her get back to a healthier mental state.
I like it. You do a good job of keeping it together and progressing smoothly.

Lisa nervously speaks out to Matt, as Jason continues searching the tunnels.
LISA
What are we going to do? How are we going to get out?
MATT
I don't know yet but we have to stay calm and stay here until we can be sure he won't come looking for us so we'll be able to get help.
Jason stops looking after he doesn't see anything, and begins to head toward the tunnel leading to the bus.
LISA
But shouldn't we try to defend our-
MATT
Sshh, he's coming. We have to get out. Move quietly.
The two of them move over to the bus door, and Matt slowly attempts to open it. Lisa nervously looks across the bus as she hears footsteps, and focuses her attention back on Matt.
Matt begins to open it as Lisa looks over once again, and doesn't hear any footsteps.
Matt climbs out, and reaches back for Lisa.
MATT
Okay, come on.
Just then Jason grabs her leg as she begins to scream, kicking him as hard as she can. Jason falls back, and Lisa quickly climbs out.
Matt and Lisa jump off the bus, and begin to run, as Jason chases after them, running as fast he can to catch up to them.
Matt and Lisa, with their adrenaline pumping, run as fast as they ever have to get away from their assailant, until they can no longer see him in the darkness.
They continue running, and then stop as they gasp for air.
LISA
Do you think we lost him?
MATT
Yeah, I think so.
Just as Matt looks up, Jason appears behind Lisa.
MATT
Lisa, look out!
Lisa quickly turns around and shrieks, and throws her arm up, and is cut with Jason's machete.
Lisa falls to the ground, holding her wounded forearm, as Matt runs into Jason, smashing him into a tree.
Matt punches Jason in the face, but has no effect, and raises his fist in an attempt to punch him again, but Jason deflects his arm, and punches him down hard to the ground.
Jason picks up his machete, causing Matt to quickly stumble to his feat, dodging a machete swipe, and once again tackling Jason into a tree, and taking out a pocket knife, quickly stabbing it into Jason's hand, pinning it to the tree.
As Jason tries to free his hand, Matt quickly rushes over to Lisa, who he helps to her feet, and the run off.
Jason notices them fleeing and tries even harder to free himself. Matt and Lisa are able to get a good distance away from Jason, who rips the knife out of his hand, freeing his hand.
He briefly looks at his wounded hand, and proceeds to pick up his machete and begin running after the duo.
Matt and Lisa briefly stop once again, and the duo find themselves gasping for air to enter their lungs.
Matt then grabs his mouth, and spits out both blood and a tooth.
He looks over at Lisa's cut arm and rips part of his shirt arm off, wrapping it around her arm as she lets out a brief shriek.
LISA
Where do we go?
MATT
I think we should maybe try going back to the cabin and calling for help. Come on, let's go!
The duo once again rise to their feet and begin running, as we see Whitney, Clay, and Jared in the woods, trying to search for any sign of someone.
They continue searching the woods, and briefly stop.
JARED
What if no one's here afterall?
CLAY
There's gotta be someone here, those cabins showed signs of recent activity, probably from earlier today.
WHITNEY
We have to keep looking. For all we know anyone that was here is still alive.
Clay notices something on a tree behind Whitney, and shines a flashlight on it, which reveals it to be blood.
CLAY
Guys, someone's definitely been here. There's blood on that tree.
WHITNEY
Oh my God...we have to keep moving.
Meanwhile, Lisa and Matt are still attempting to head in the camp, but Lisa stops them from running.
MATT
What's wrong? Why are we stopping?
LISA
It feels like we just went in a huge circle. Are you sure you know where the camp is from here?
MATT
Yes, but we really have to get going. We don't have time to waste.
Matt grabs Lisa's hand, and as he turns around he is startled to see someone behind him with a gun, who steps closer to him, revealing himself to be Clay, along with Whitney and Jared.
CLAY
Are you two okay?
MATT
Somewhat, but she's got a real bad cut on her forearm.
CLAY
Alright, come with us, we'll get you two out of here. My car is parked back at your cabin, we should be okay if we get there in time.
The five of them take off into the woods, but no sign of Jason is anywhere.
They continue running in the woods, with Clay eventually leading them back to the camp.
Upon seeing the car, apparently untouched, they all sigh in relief, and continue running. Matt runs a little ahead, and his foot is caught in a bear trap, causing everyone else to stop running.
Lisa immediately drops down and attempts to help Matt, but to no avail as she can't get the trap off.
JARED
Man, we gotta go, we can't stop now!
Matt screams in agony and looks up to see Jason running toward him.
Whitney notices Jason running and screams, as Jason forcefully smashes his machete into the right part of Matt's head, splitting his skull.
Lisa attempts to get up and run, but Jason is able to grab her before she puts distance between them, and slits her throat.
Dropping Lisa's now lifeless body to the ground, Jason sets his eyes upon a terrified Whitney, immediately noticing her and becoming enraged upon seeing her.

Lol, sorry, I was meaning to work on it this past Monday, but it slipped my mind. I'll definitely be writing more today, so I'll have something new posted around the end of the day.
I figured that using that as his signature of sorts would either go over well or people would go "boring, seen it already" but I still used it even with the latter in mind because I wanted him to kill people in new ways while also maintaining his old style in the reboot. Plus, I wanted it to basically be as if Whitney witnesses nearly the same events, so that it mirrors one another in a way, and it brings every single fear she's tried to get rid of right back to the surface.

I think it's sweet you nod to the move because Jason in the old series always used signature moves: slashed necks, face slices, face smashing with bare hands... when killers try and kill in new and unique ways, they do it not to keep authorites on their toes, allowing them to not get caught. It's the killers that kill in the same fashion, but might change a little, but keeping the method the same, those killers basically say "I don't fear authorties, I don't care, I kill because it's my primal instinct.

That does make a lot of sense, though, because if police investigate a kill, and the killer has killed in a new way they may go "this isn't so and so's MO, so it's not them" and it leads them away from who the real killer is.
Though, at the same time, I don't think Jason is particularly worried about authorities, considering what he did to the cop in the reboot, but he just wants to be left alone, and he's been through a lot, so he's fighting back.

I don't mean "worried" worried. I mean this: Some killers naturally kill the weaker. Authorities are considered strong these killers, so they do their best to make the authorities keep their distance. Then there's killers who kill whoever, even cops. The consequences of their actions are never on their mind, and if you're a cop and catch this type of killer in the act, or enter ther killers territory, you're as good as dead no matter how strong you are. You're toast.

Ah, I see, and I would agree with that assessment. Jason fits right into that category, as does Michael, of course. Both are going to kill whoever is in their way, be it cop or civilian. I particularly like that in the reboot, the cop, whom is there to help, gets a very quick death.
As promised, here's the next part of the story. Enjoy:
Jason begins to walk toward Whitney, but Clay shoots him. Jason is taken aback by the shot, but continues moving.
Clay continues shooting Jason, who refuses to fall down. It takes a total of twelve shots before Jason falls down to the ground.
The trio quickly jump in the car and drive off, hoping to make it safely away from Jason.
Madness and Mayhem
Clay nervously drives the car as fast as he can, trying to get away.
JARED
Where do we go, man?
CLAY
I'm going to stop at the first place I see where there's people inside.
Clay continues to drive as fast as he can, heavily panting, as Whitney begins to cry and covers her face in disbelief.
Clay stops at a nearby diner, where the trio exit the car, and enter the diner.
They all take a seat at a table, and Clay, noticing Whitney shaking in fear, orders coffee for her.
Whitney nervously drinks her coffee, as Jared attempts to comfort her.
JARED
It's going to be okay, Whitney.
Clay takes out his cell phone, proceeding to dial 911.
CLAY
Hello? This is Clay Miller. I want to report a homicide. I'm at a diner about ten or fifteen miles from Crystal Lake.
OFFICER THOMPSON
Seriously, you people need to stop wasting our time crying wolf. You know how many calls we've gotten lately of ignorant teens claiming to have seen Jason Voorhees?
CLAY

OFFICER THOMPSON

Before Clay can get a full sentence out, the officer hangs up on him.
A man working at in the kitchen of the diner, JIM GARRIS, comes to the front, taking off his apron and gloves as he does so.
JIM
Hey, Ethel, I'm taking a break to have a quick smoke. I'll be back in a few.
ETHEL
(laughing)
Alright, hurry back.
Back with the trio, they continue to try and figure out what it is they should do next.
WHITNEY
If we can't go to the police because they think we're playing a joke, what do we do next?
CLAY
I honestly don't know, but even if Jason survived the rounds I fired into him, I doubt he'd come loo--
Clay is once again interrupted before he can finish his sentence, this time by Jim being thrown through the door of the diner, with Jason stepping into the diner, causing an uproar with the customers.
One after another, the customers foolish attempt to charge at Jason, who proceeds to kill them via use of his machete.
While Jason is momentarily distracted by the charging customers, Clay quickly takes out his gun, and begins to knock out as much of the glass he can to make an exit.
CLAY
Quickly, go!
Whitney exits through the hole first, and Jared follows behind her.
Clay attempts to follow suit, but is grabbed by Jason. Jared quickly picks up the biggest piece of glass he can find, and stabs Jason in the abdomen with it, causing him to release his grip on Clay.
The trio quickly run to the car, and enter it. Jason begins to remove the glass from his abdomen, as he briefly looks at his wound.
Clay briefly fumbles around for the key to start the car. He manages to find the key, and inserts it, starting the ignition of the car.
Just as he begins to drive away, Jason appears on his side of the door, causing Whitney to let out a loud shriek, but before Jason can get a good grip on the door Clay drives off, once again leaving Jason behind.
Jason, watching the car drive off, puts his machete away, and clenches his fists in rage, as he begins to walk in the direction of the car.
Jason's walking slowly turns into running in an attempt to catch up to his would be prey.
Back in the car, the trio are all panicking due to the events to have just transpired.
JARED
Dude, I thought you said he wouldn't follow us?
CLAY
I can't read the guy's mind, I just figured he wouldn't.
JARED
Well, where the fuck are we going to go? What are we going to do?
CLAY
I don't know, okay! If I had a clue what we were going to do, I'd have already fucking told you!
WHITNEY
Shut up! Both of you! This is not the time for you two to be arguing like immature kids. We need to just get as far away from him as possible. That seems to be our only option. The police won't believe us, and he keeps following us.
JARED
(apologetically)
Sorry.
CLAY
It's cool, man.
JARED
I'm still baffled as to why he's following us.
WHITNEY
He's not stupid. He recognizes me and Clay. He's pissed, and he's not going to stop until he gets what he wants.
JARED
And what would that be?
WHITNEY
Me.
JARED
What?
CLAY
Remember, Whitney shares a resemblance to his mother, and he's desperate to have anything that even remotely reminds him of his mother. Whitney's right, we have to get as far away as possible...we might even have to leave town. That's the only way I don't see him following us.
Clay continues to drive at high speed, and notices the car beginning to slow down. Clay glares at the gas hand, which he notices is not empty.
The car continues to slow down, with Clay pulling off to the side of the road as the car finally halts.
JARED
What's going on?
CLAY
I don't know. We're not out of gas, there could be something wrong with the engine but I'm not sure.
JARED
Do you still have that hunting knife you used to carry around?
CLAY
Yeah, why?
JARED
I have an idea, just give me the knife.
Clay hands Jared the knife, who proceeds to get out of the car, and instructs Jared to pop the hood of the trunk.
Jared puts the knife toward a wire in the car, and then instructs Clay to attempt to start the car, but it doesn't.
JARED
Try it again!
Jared continues to hold the knife to the wire, with sparks continuously flying out as Clay attempts to start the car.
JARED
Alright, one more time!
Clay, hopeless that the car with start again, tries one more time, and to his surprise, it starts up, causing all three of them to smile.
Jared removes the knife from the wire and closes the trunk, and looks at Clay, whose smile quickly goes away as he sees Jason behind him.
Before Jared can even fully turn his head around to view Jason, Jason forcefully grabs him by the head, and begins to viciously bash his head into the hood of the car until he's dead.
Dropping Jared's lifeless body to the ground, he sets his sights on Clay and Whitney. Clay attempts to drive the car, but it cuts off, as Jason walks to the passenger side of the car.

Lol, I intentionally stopped. Whenever I stop, it's usually always intentional, because I always know where the story is going. I just do it to keep people on edge. So, if you're on edge right now, then my plan has worked. :p
