Best Michael Myers?

I was orginally going to make this a poll, but with the new movie coming I think we should have a poll when that comes out.

Most of us, including myself feel that the first two Halloween movies are the best in the series. THat is because of many things, but included in that list must be the Myers performances. I liked Nick a little better then Rich, because he was more graceful and believable. Rich played a more robotic Myers, but it was still a solid character performance.

Brad Lori was very close to the original two Myers, while fatso beer belly Myers [Wilber] just does not cut it for me anymore. Chris Durand just plain sucked miserably and Don Shanks was way too big for the role.

I just read an interview with Rob Zombie saying his Myers makes Kane Hodder look like a midget. If that is the case, he is setting his Myers up to fail, because Michael Myers is not supposed to be a giant guy. He is supposed to be an average hight guy who is just plain evil.

Mane ranks fairly low as Myers for me (Nowhere near the holy trinity of Castle, Warlock and Loree), but I think he ranks just above Roy Burns as a nice Jason clone and just below Bryniarski as a Leatherface imposter.

Daeg only portrayed kid Michael Myers and while it was a damn good performance, I really don't think it qualifies here as the poll pertains to adult Michael.

And I honestly think Brad Loree was the worst. I love all of the performances except his. After watching HR I don't hate his performance as I much as I originally did, but he's still not the best by any chance. I felt they should've had Durand return in the role.

i need to get these movies on dvd. the only halloween movie i have is the remake.

After watching HR in it's entirety at least twice this year, I'd say that Loree did a pretty damn good job, but was in a terrible movie. Seriously, I've only watched that movie three times all the way through.
