Half-Life

Half-Life is probably the game that made me tolerant to FPS titles. I've never been a big fan of FPS games, but Half-Life really sucked me in. I've had the PC version for a while, but I've recently stumbled across Half-Life for the PS2. I've read some good reviews, but I was wondering if anyone here has played the PS2 port of Half-Life? Is it any good?

I'm wanting to play Half-Life 2 eventually. Which systems is the game out on? I know it's out on the PC, but is it out on one of the next-gen consoles as well?

The Half-Life 2 Orange box is coming out for the 360 in October

It has Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2 episodes 1 & 2 and a couple other games.

Half Life 2 is also available for the original X-Box if you can find one of those floating around anywhere.

Well, I ended up getting Scarface: The World Is Yours rather than Half-Life. They didn't actually have a copy of Half-Life in stock at Game Stop, so that seemed like the next best game to get.

They did have copies of Half-life 2 for the X-Box, but I don't own an X-Box. I might try and get an original X-Box someday just so I can pick up Half-Life 2.

You will want to get the orange box for the 360.

I haven't been able to track down a copy of the original half-life; I've wanted to play it for years (ever since I picked up Half-Life 2 for the original X-Box).

Half-Life 2 is easily the best FPS I've ever played. I picked this game up along with Halo 3, Bioshock, and Gears of War. I'm still on the first stages of those games, but beat half-life 2 several months ago (one of the best video games ever made). I'll probably pick up the original on E-bay soon (PS2 version).

I have the original Half-Life for the PC, great game. Never got around to beating it, though.
