Punk vs Undertaker-- Orton vs Cena and DX vs Legacy

The PPV was alright, I'm really starting to hate WWE's new PG attitude though! When I watch a Hell in a Cell match I expect major violence and blood shed like many matches in the past. All three matches had no blood shed at all!

CM Punk vs UT didn't even seem like a HIAC match because they hardly did anything involving the HIAC. UT did walk out the new champ though so that's a plus.

Cena vs Orton was actually a decent match. The cell walls, steel chairs and the ring steps came into play in this match. One punt to the head and Orton regains his title. So let's see on the WWE World Title chain that would mean Triple H is next to win it considering Triple H, Cena and Orton have been trading it back and forth for two years now.

DX vs Legacy was IMO the best of the three HIAC matches. Both teams brawled all over the ringside area for the first five to ten minutes of the match before it even started. The next ten minutes seen a helpless Shawn Michaels locked in the HIAC alone with Rhodes and Dibiase after Trip's was knocked out on the entrance ramp. After coming to Trip's headed to the back and got boltcutters and broke into the cell to save Michaels. Trip's and Michaels completely destroyed Dibiase, dragged him out of the cell, then locked themselves in the cell with Rhodes. Rhodes would then suffer a five minute beatdown from DX before finally taking Sweet Chin Music to one side of the face then a sledgehammer shot to the other side.

I'll probably buy this when it hits DVD just to have the matches to go with my other HIAC 3 DVD Collection.

- Word going around the WWE locker room is that the reason CM Punk lost the World Heavyweight Title last night is because of heat on him stemming from an incident on the recent European tour.

The story goes that there was in issue with how Punk was dressed and The Undertaker said tried to nicely tell Punk that he was the World Champion and was representing WWE overseas so he should dress better. Punk said something to the effect of “what about John Cena?”

This got back to WWE management and they took it as Punk thinking he was a bigger star than John Cena. Then the decision was made to take the belt off Punk at Hell in a Cell and put the match as the opener. It is noted by Dave Meltzer that this may not be exactly how the story went down but it’s how it was told.

The problems with Punk and losing the title has been the talk of the SmackDown locker room for the past two days. As noted last night before the show, several on the SmackDown brand were under the impression that Undertaker was winning and he did. There are some who are wondering why Undertaker was given the title considering his limited schedule and health problems with the feeling that it was too soon to take the title off Punk.

Word is that WWE is planning on going with a Batista vs. Undertaker feud for the World Heavyweight Title.

I didn't expect this from the Undertaker. This sounds more like something from Hogan's play list. And the double standard is always making me sick.

Otherwise the PPV S*CKED monkey balls, except for the ME, partially the Orton vs Cena match, would put and the triple threat for the US title, but there they are building Koffy like an afro-Cena-from-the-midcard. I watched the PPV with few friends and we were joking, that the next time he will defend against Warrior, Hogan, Cena, HHH and the Undertaker at Mania and will win with a pinfall over the Dead Man.
I hate when WWE are over-exploiting (abusing) some of their "superstars" like this. Not to say that his title reign is BORING like hell, he can't say a word on the mic for God's sake!

Big fan of Taker, but I think it's time for him to retire

plus the story kinda makes it sound like he had to run and complain because Punk made a "disrespectful" comment and Taker SHOULD NOT be champ, he's way to injury prone and I really don't think I can sit through anymore Taker V Boretista matches

I agree with all of this. I'm not a huge Taker fan but I kind of like him. I did love him back in the 1990s.

I'd like to see Punk feud with Morrison over the WHC but that won't happen now that Taker will more than likely keep the belt & feud with Batista. And since Morrison is the IC champ. I know we saw a lot of Punk vs. Morrison in ECW over the title there but I'd still rather see those two feud over the belt than Taker & Botchtista.

Punk V Morrison has always produced good to great matches
Punk V Taker good(although short since Taker is nowhere near 100%)
Boretista V anybody not named Eddie Guerrero usually ends up a 10 to 15 minute botch fest

If they run with Taker V Boretista I bet they both end up having to take time off for injuries(Takers knees and hip and Boretista's steroid related....I mean mystery injuries)
