I got pissed a alot of people on the road today on my way to work. I'm wondering who else getting fuming at bad drivers. Post your Road Rage peaves here. Or if you saw something on the road that pissed you off and you want to share, by all means.
On the way to work today I saw a guy not able to stay within the lines of his lane on the freeway. This pissed me off because I didn't wash the sleepies out of my eyes, so they were watery and I had to rub them, but I was still able to stay in my lane.
When exiting the freeway there's three lanes you can be in. The left lane is for left turns. The right lane was for right turns. The middle lane is for left and right turns. This big SOB, ahem, excuse me, SUV, was in the middle lane, a car was infront of him. He backs up a little and maneuvers his car to turn right. The front of his car was facing RIGHT. When the light turned green did he go the direction he maneuvered his car in? No. I was expecting him to go right, so when he went and I started to move in the left postition, the fuckers werves and bared left. WTF!!!???
Anyways, please no posts to justify the people we hate on the road. This thread is for venting only.

Am I the only person in this Forum suffering from Road Rage?

I try not to let idiots on the road bother me. The people who go crazy because of others driving are usually the ones causing problems with everyone else. I think it's all petty and immature to get bent out of shape while driving.

There's levels of roadrage. One I've never experienced myself is getting out of my car and fighting someone (which I've seen.) I just get mad at stupid people. If they drive slow I'll speed around them. But when it gets to the point of cutting them off, that's just wreckless and I won't do it. I'm a cusser and a bird flipper though! Reason why you won't see any Christian bumper stickers on the back of my truck.

If a vehicle has a large turning radius, it is not uncommon for a driver to initially begin his turn in the opposite direction. You will see this with semi-trucks and buses. My brother also has to do this sometimes as he has a six-pack full bed chevy pickup.
My dad has had severe road rage. On several occasions, he would follow people to the parking lot or even to their house and cuss them out. He is generally a mild person, but there are a few things that cause his fuse to go off instantaneously. His face would turn red and he would grit his teeth; I don't think anybody ever talked back to him when he got that way (6'3", 220 pounds of solid farm boy/Army special forces muscle). He didn't care if the driver of the other car/truck was an old woman, or filled with 4 guys who looked like they just escaped from prison. Everybody got an ass chewing.
He was struck with hepatitus about 20 years ago and lost almost all of his strength. He's almost 70. Even now, though, when I see those gritted teeth... I nearly piss myself. :D Then again, maybe my dad just suffers from rage. A couple of years ago he grabbed a guy by his throat in a casino and tossed him across the aisle because he took my dad's machine and wouldn't give it back. They tossed my dad, and the other guy didn't press charges (probably embarrased that an old man was about to stomp his ass). Good times.
I get road rage, too, but I'm smart enough not to follow anybody home or put my hands on anybody. Nowadays, you're likely to get shot or sued. Plus, I wouldn't want anybody grabbing me, so I definitely try to avoid being physical, especially over something that means very little. You just have to calm down.
When I worked EMS, I'd get road rage when people wouldn't pull over when our unit was responding to a call.

To the person who drove 55 MPH in a 70 MPH because she was texting on the freeway...
to the one who almost missed their exit because they weren't paying attention to the road, but paid attention to your cellphone conversation instead...
to the bitch who almost hit me while cutting me off because you were in the wrong lane to exit to begin with...
YOU ALL SUCK!!!

You wouldn't believe the ungodly amount of idiocy I've seen when I'm on the road... Shit's unnerving, yo.

I try my hardest to not like idiots get to me. I can sit at a red light that turned green forever and not honk -- it's just not that important to me to get somewhere two minutes faster. It takes a real boner move to get me heated, like putting my life in danger.

I honk. Not in anger, not in impatience.... the peeps are off in la la land, I do it to wake them up.

I hate it when people screw around on the road and don't pay attention. I especially hate it when you see people weaving in and out of the lanes with their damn cell phone clamped to their ears.
I wonder how they'd go about talking on the phone while it's shoved up their ass.

Unfortunately, you'd probably be making things easier on them, since that's where their head is.
