We know, one of the main reasons why we go to the fairs, especially the state fairs. Its the food. Food galore to satisfy you tastbuds. My favorites are cheese curds and Sweet martha's cookies. Yum-fucking-my.

I dunno... I really don't eat that junk food.... if I had to pick it'd be fried dough or a hot dog.

I'd go with hot dog too. I'm not one for buying this stuff at fairs, only because it's so fuckin' expensive and it's loaded with grease. But I'll have one hot dog when the hunger hits.

Funnel Cakes are out of this world. Every time I bite into one I just want to whip my dick out and beat off right there. Unfortunately the last time that happened I scarred an 8 year old boy for life, so I tend to keep public masturbation to strictly the beach, and saunas.
But who the fuck doesn't love hot dogs? If you don't like hot dogs from places other than your kitchen, you may not be human/have a soul. Lets not forget when you wrap those muh'fuckers in some fried dough and voila! Corn dogs bitches.

The only other place I like hot dogs, other than at home, is the ballpark. You can't beat a hot dog, that is bigger than a porn star's penis.

Funnel cakes/zepoles/malasadas are awesome! I like stuff like bergers and hot dogs though. I also like hot prezels. I also like cotton candy, Man, I'm a fat ass. :lmao:

Funnel cakes are quite orgasmic. I also dig on corn dogs and those huge turkey legs (weird, because I don't care for dark meat.)

None I don't eat junk food
When I was younger and did on rare occasion (and yes it honestly was rare) I did like toffee apples (i think Americans call them Candy apples) and Candy Floss (Cotton Candy)
I don't eat them now of course as I don't eat junk food and anyway the red food coloring contains animal products which i can't/won't eat due to been a vegetarian

Barbecue, sno cones, elephant ears(kinda like funnel cakes but big and flat), and deep-fried candy bars.

Cotton Candy, bitches...
And explain to me why we always get ripped off at a place called the "fair"?

For me, it would have to be the ever-loving power of funnel cakes, without a lot of powdered sugar. I'm more into the pancake-ness of it. I also like the fresh fudge at a couple of the booths, and as for hot dogs, yeah, I can down a few of those especially if they're in corndog form, but I'm more or less into gi-normous Polish sausage hoagies, loaded with greasy grilled onions and peppers. Of course, I spend half of my time at the fair in one of the shit-encrusted porta-potties rather than getting my hurl on in the Gravitron, but our two (yeah, we have one in July and one in September) fairs are always loaded with plenty of good greasy shit to make my slow artery-clogging death more enjoyable.
At the September fair, they also have a Greek Gyro booth headed by the city's Woman's Club. Let me just say that Greek or not, those ladies make some kick ass pita sandwiches, and take it from me, I used to live near Tarpon Springs, Florida, which is a predominantly Greek town. Their gyro sandwiches are pretty damn close to the real thing.

I haven't been to a county fair in ten years. When I did, it was usually the hot dogs that I got from what was known as the junior class stand. A concession stand set up by the junior class from the high school, to raise funds for prom. The hot dogs were pretty damn good. Often have dinner from there when the fair was going. I never ate a fair made corn dog, just the frozen kind. Never interest in some of the stuff like cotton candy or salt water taffy.

I usually end up getting a corn dog. I actually don't really go to fairs that much anymore.

I with you on both of those. Just the smell of funnel cakes makes my mouth water. And corn dogs? Mmmm. I will never forget going to the Midtown Music Festival in Atlanta the year they sold corn dogs. I must have bought a thousand. The downside was that the sticks had a pointed end and people were putting them in the ground everywhere (pointy end up). You had to look before sitting on the ground or you'd get a nasty surprise up your wazoo.

I didn't over do it on the food this year :\, but I did have cheese curds. They were using trans-fat free oils this year, so they were a little crunchier. Oh well.

Funnel cakes are orgasmic. Well, to be clear, funnel cakes with glaze on them are fantastic... I don't care much for funnel cakes with powdered sugar or jelly.

I can't believe I forgot Cotton Candy. Next to Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy is one of my favourite things to pig-out on at the fair.

Funnel cakes with glaze? I've NEVER heard of that. Whenever i've been to a Fair, they always have it with powdered sugar.

Yeah, MM, I'm with you...I've never heard of Funnel Cake served any way except plain or with powdered sugar. The glaze does sound pretty good tho (I'm imagining something like donut glaze here.) But jelly? Ick.*
*I don't eat jelly anyway. Odd, considering I live in the city home to Blackburn's Syrup & Jelly. (http://www.jeffersonimages.com/blackburn/BB_Index.htm)

Well, I usually eat funnel cakes at Dollywood.
http://www.dollywood.com/food-dining/detail.aspx?AttractionID=362
However, I'm pretty sure I got a funnel cake with glaze at the Pavilion at Myrtle Beach, but sadly the Pavilion was torn down two summers ago.
And even though that Dollywood link says "vanilla glaze," it really takes like the glaze on a Krispy Kreme doughnut.
