Thrift/Goodwill Stores

Anyone else shop at these stores? I find cool hidden treasures at them.. Plus, you get a lot of cool stuff for cheap and never know what you are going to find...

Today I managed to find

3 AC/DC CD's
Pearl Jam Shirt
5 Punisher Comic Books
3 Cerberus Graphic Novels
2 Batman Graphic Novels

all for a grand total of 11.00

The one locally makes me want to go home and bathe vigorously. Serious. When my mom quit smoking her weight started fluctuating so instead of going to the mall, or even walmart for that matter, and buying new pants, she would shop goodwill until her new weight stabilized. I'd tag along to look at the books.

The one I seen in Houston was fairly nice though, as far as goodwill goes.

That's where I built one of my Jason Voorhees outfits at. Its cheap, and you don't feel so guilty destroying it.

I managed to find some decent work shirts & pants at the one in my town... In addition, I found the First Edition VHS edition of "The Punisher" (1989), nice looking pair of cowboy boots in my size (broken in & hardly worn out), some cassettes I can't think of at the moment & a hardcover edition of The Stand... All decent finds, mind you.
