Well after finding the clothes I liked, and dirtying up the old hands a bit.I think we got some excellent shots.Allison of course was on the mark as usual.
I also painted up another neca with some custom chevrons for this as well as filling in the eye holes a bit with epoxy putty to make them a little smaller.
This is not meant to be a copy of any particular version, just how i would like Jason to look.
I also had my buddy Mike wear my other myer's suit for some J VS M shots. He did a great job.lol
Should eventually have some good pics of Angie in her Krueger outfit.Soon
Enjoy,

That's absolutely amazing, sir! That hockey mask is brilliant! The weathering and aging on it is really really well done!

Awesome work as usual bro! :)

And I gotta ask, is that a Deadguy machete you're wielding? ;) If it's not, it fooled me, because he sent me one of his 09 replicas and it is, without question, one of the absolute coolest blades I've ever owned, all three fucking feet of it! :D

Awesome as always! Great poses. :D

What's that undermask you're wearing? I noticed it's the same one as your remake outfit.
ADDED:
You should audition for the role in the sequel if Mears hasn't already signed on! haha (Haven't heard a lot of news about that)

Yes it is sir, and it is a beautiful blade.I have the 30" in these pics, but will be getting a 3 footer soon.

that is a custom hood from MMFX that I used for my old remake suit.I now use my Darkside hood for my current remake outfit.
This hood was made for a custom Jason anyway, so it worked out well, and I simply love the realism it has.
I wanted to incorporate my own look into this so I picked clothes that I would actually wear, so in a way this is how I would look if I were Jason.
Dark colors have been done, and done again,. so I went for colors that have not been done before, and I really liked this flannel.

Oh Darkside huh? Yeah Paul's a good guy to do business with, I ordered a part 4 mask from him and I'm really impressed with the quality. I'll use it for my part 4 outfit (obviously) and my part 5 dream Jason, since his head and ears were the same shape as part 4. Thinking about getting some other ones when I can :D

By the way, if anybody's looking for affordable machetes, I found a site that may be helpful:

Don't think those clothes work for Jason, but I like the hockeymask a lot.

The costume was great... but I didn't like the plaid. It made me think of Larry the Cable Guy.

The costume is supposed to have a redneck backwoods feel to it,so I am on the right track.lol
To me it is no different than the overalls and flannel in part 2, just a different take on it.
My vision is not for everyone I guess.lol
I wanted a completely different look, not just a variation of the same ole same ole.

No don't get me wrong, it's a great design, I would just change up the Plaid.

How do you get your outfits to look weathered and beaten, wickedbeard? That's a trick I'd like to learn ;)

Looks awesome is that flannel the same exact design as the one used in part 2 ?

And what F 13th movie is the mask from ?

no , the part 2 shirt was more of a blue plaid design with other subtle colors mixed in.
The hock is not from any particular version. It is my own design.

Lots and lots of practice with many different methods.lol

The shirt is going to get dirtier and dirtier toning down the plaid more and more.I am also going to dirty up the thermal gradually and I will be adding some cool new things to the outfit eventually ending up with one helluva signature custom.
Again ...this suit is not supposed to be compared to any other Jason outfit.I intended this to be my vision of Jason.
Long sleeves have been done, green shirts have been done, overalls have been done, jackets have been done. This is supposed to be different, and I think when I am 100% done tweaking it, it will be a sweet ass look.
I will add pics to this thread as things progress.

I love it Wickedbeard, just like all your costumes. I'm going to be honest - it's an unusual look, just because it's so different from what we're used to seeing, but at the same time it's still completely awesome and still very 'Jason'. Good job.

What do you use for the dirt?

Dirt?

It's cheap, or often free, and you can't beat it for looking like the real thing.

Haha yeah I know it seems like a dumb question but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any kind of synthetic product involved (Bob at fiberglass masks told me he uses something called Perma wet for the slime on Jason's shirt in his part 8 suit).

Perma-wet is perfect for wet looks, and you can also use modge podge gloss.Just water it down a little.
As for dirt, and stains ,I use a lot of different things.Coffee, for sweat stains, cigarette ash, acrylics, spray paint, and yes even real dirt.lol.Whatever suits my fancy at the time

Jeff does awesome work! I've seen a bunch of his costumes at different conventions. I think I like his Part VI the best which will be the outfit he brings if he attends HorrorHound on Nov 11.

I can't remember if I saw his part VII costume here or somehow found it online thanks to scabboy. I'm sure he could make a living selling THE premiere top-of-the-line Jason Voorhees costumes. There are a lot of people out there making good replicas and outfits, but he is the best I've ever seen. The man knows his stuff. :D

Somebody in the Halloween (the holiday) thread asked about buying a quality Voorhees outfit, but I didn't mention wickedbeard because he doesn't sell his work (if memory serves). ?
