One of the best 80's film IMO!
I still love it, and I still want to be a Goonie!
Sloth :duh:

Yeah, it's a great film. Finally got it on DVD along with "Willy Wonka & The Choclate Factory" and "The Wizard Of Oz".

Not afraid to admit that Goonies ROCK!!!!! I work with a girl who absolutely adores the movie and can quote every single line. I no longer need to see it again because of her.

Recently bought this myself. Watched it so much when I was little. I never understood what Lauper was saying in that song until I got the dvd.

WillyWonka is also one of my favorite movies ever. I'm sorry the re-make was such a sh*t.... I always pictured Nick Cage playing willywonka on a re-make!!!! I was disapointed....

I love The Goonies. I saw it with my cousins when I was a little wheat, and I've loved it ever since.

Who doesn't like The Goonies. Seriously.
Chunk is so funny, pure gold. I like when he gets interrogated.

That scene made me laugh so hard when I was a kid! Especially the balcony puking thing. :)

I'm right there with you!!!!!! Nicolas Cage would've been the perfect Willy Wonka IMO....I mean, I like Johnny Depp....but I didn't like the "remake"...I really didn't.
And I love The Goonies...Mouth is really funny too!!!

This is one of the movies that defines my childhood. Loved it 20 years ago. Still love it to this day. I have the same reactions now just like I did back then.
This movie will always be immortal to me.
Picked up the 25th anniversary Blu-ray set today. Looks pretty good. Sucks that there aren't any new special features on the disc. Just ported over from the DVD release it seems. Might have to rally up some friends to play the board game that came with it!

The Kentucky Theater in Lexington used to play this on the big screen every Thanksgiving (not sure why Thanksgiving, as I don't think the holiday had anything to do with the plot of the movie at all?) and I was able to catch a showing four or five years ago (as I never got to see it in a theater when I was 5). Truly greatness. I'm not sure they show this one anymore though. I've not seen them advertise it in a few years.

I'd love to see this on the big screen.
I want to grab the soundtrack on vinyl ASAP.

one of the G.O.A.T movies. This movie will always hold a special place in my heart.
I probably watch it two or three times a year.

Received my Goonies soundtrack vinyl in the mail today. Sounds absolutely perfect.

Great song even though the scene where it was showcased ended up being deleted. Still cool they included it on the DVD/Blu-ray though.
