I already rebuilt my old art thread from the old forum on to the way-station forum, and now I guess I'll just transfer the pieces that I started my art thread with over there on to here. Currently, I'm still working on finishing up that "From Crystal Lake To Manhattan Version 2.0" DVD cover project. Just a few more tweaks here and there on my other desktop, and the covers should be roxy for print. I'll post them shortly. As for now, enjoy these:

This is a banner for my Friday fan film that's currently in development. If all goes well with Eastman & Laird's Casey Jones, which begins shooting this fall, I hope to get this baby out by 2009. It's an idea that I've been tinkering with since I was in high school, and methinks it's time to begin drafting out a script.

Nice poster, but my only question is, what Part is it? Underneath your name is says 11, but on the poster it says 9. Where does it fit into the series?

Holy hell.
I cannot believe that I just noticed that. Back to Photoshop. Oh, it fits right after Freddy vs. Jason, but the opening is set directly after Jason Takes Manhattan in around 1996. The film then jumps to 2008.

Hey....I like your art.
And it sounds like your fan film is gonna be good too...let us know how it's going, that'd be nice.
With the tag line and the title, I gather the plot will be about someone hunting Jason. That sounds like a lot of fun and can't wait to see it. I have got to imagine the hunters becoming the hunted though. :D

Well... sort of.
It's like this. It begins with the finale of Jason Takes Manhattan in 1996 with Jason getting toxic wasted and Rennie and Sean escaping. But Jason gets up (Part 3-style) and stumbles around down in the sewr for awhile until he sees an opening. He stumbles out of the tunnel to find himself on the outskirts of the city in a trainyard. Jason then throws himself into a boxcar, hobo style, and that's how he gets back to the lake area. Meanwhile, at the Feldman house, Claudia Feldman and her boyfriend Joel are talking about Jason sightings in NYC. Joel has been following the legend for awhile and deducts that since Jason was swept away in the Manhattan sewer, Crystal Lake is up for grabs. See, Joel and Claudia are indie filmmakers with their company Scorpio Films. They plan to go to the lake area and shoot a Jason mockumentary with an actor playing Jason. Claudia's family don't like it, especially her little brother Kyle who loves her very much. But she promises to be back by Sunday. Long story short, Jason arrives at the same time they do, fully rested from his train ride. He kills the crew and obtains his new mask and clothes (JGTH outfit). Claudia is the last one left and she drops her camera as Jason kills her. Her entire murder is caught on tape. The bodies are found, the FBI begins doing recon work on Jason for an ambush, and the lives of the Feldmans are left in ruins. Kyle swipes the tape of Claudia's murder from his parent's bedroom and watches it. He witnesses her murder and vows revenge.
Cut to 2008. Basically Kyle grew up a bitter and militaristic man. A hiker, Eric Christy, is murdered in the lake area after stumbling upon Jason's Part 2 shack. His family are the developers as seen in FvsJ. They know that Jason is probably still at large and will lose a lot of money on the development if they involve the authorities, so they set out a call on national TV to any amateur hunters willing to go and recover Eric's body. Kyle answers the call realizing his chance to take Jason out and claim his revenge. Once there, the hunters are dispatched quickly, save for Kyle, who is heavily armed and very unstable. A perfect match for Jason, Kyle wages war on the killer, destroying the forest, demolishing Jason's shack, and ultimately, dismembering Jason to take back what was promised to him upon Claudia's return: the hockey mask.
This is my return to the Paramount feel of the old films. I hope that I can make this vision a reality. I think it would please a lot of fans.
