Stealing pictures of other people's hard work just isn't very nice. Not only are you stealing the pictures, you are taking credit for the time and effort it took to put that costume together....just kinda foul if you ask me.

Technically, if you don't have proof that he stole the picture, then you're making a false accusation. Which, by the way, isn't very warranted. Now, If he made the costume himself, then he's got all the right in the world to post that picture.

Settle down guys, I've known Tommy for a very long time & he's never been the type to come out & start crap or make bogus accusations. I'm not going to take any sides here, but before this erupts into something it need not be, I just want to bring up a couple things for everyone to take into consideration:

1) The title of the thread is "new costume shot", jasonisking was not specific as to who's costume it is, though it's ambiguity would lead people to believe it's his. He should really clear that up, because if Tommy's right, then it's a lie by omission. Why wouldn't you post details of the costume, like who the mask is by, where you got the coveralls from, stuff like that? Or were details purposely left out just in case someone came along who knows the owner of said costume & that way, you could always back peddle & say, "I never said it was mine"?

2) Tommy spends a lot of time on the MichaelMyers.net & HMA boards, both of which are full of Myers fans, many of whom post their own costume shots. If the pic posted is legitimately by jasonisking, maybe he posted it on another board under a different name? Or perhaps, giving JIK the benefit of the doubt, he just happens to have a costume pic similar to that of a member on a different forum?

Tommy, if you've seen this shot on another board, post us a link to it when you can bro ;) JIK, it's a cool pic, hook us up with some details about it :)

The man behind the costume's name is Jeff. He is still awaiting activation on this board so that he can respond himself. I am far too old and have been involved in this hobby for far too long to go around and just sling accusations for the sake of it. Not only did he post this picture here which is of Jeff, he also posted a picture of Jeff in his costume in the part 8 costume thread.

now, check the links and see for yourselves. Jasonisking has posted more than once showing Jeff's costumes and calling them his own. Now...I know Jeff personally and that is how I know these are his costumes. Jeff travels to Horrorhound, Monstermania, Fearfest, and Fango conventions and dresses up to take pictures with fans. He has done this with many of the costumes you see in the links above you. I do not like seeing someone taking credit for what a great guy and a friend worked hard on.

BTW...don't let the post count fool you. I have been around since the Matt Dennis days, before Blake and Brenna took things over. Showstoppa, I remember you from some time back as well. Aren't you the one with the large TMNT collection? Please do not think I am some new guy trying to start trouble.

Before this gets out of hand, please realize that my reading of this thread doesn't lead me to believe that anyone was out to call you a liar--the posters were simply pointing out that you made an accusation without evidence; I'm actually proud of them for that, because the burden of proof falls upon you to provide it.

Now that you have, it is up to the OP to rebut the evidence, if that is possible.

What the other folks were hung up on, probably, is the concept that someone would come in and threadshit for no reason. Turns out that's not the case, but unfortunately it sometimes is, so let's give the other contributors the benefit of the doubt here--they're just out to keep trolls away.

I completely understand and respect where you are coming from Blake. All I ask in return is to understand where I am coming from in all of this. From your post, I take it as you do and I have edited my post accordingly. Is it possible that Jeff aka Wickedbeard could have his account activated so that he could give his input...since they are all his costumes afterall.

What Blake said is true, I was not trying to call anyone a liar, but I did not want to see threadshitting taking place. And I also wanted to dispell and arguments before they started taking place. You came here with proof, and that's what I asked for, to which I say...
