I went to the local comic book shop yesterday and picked up this graphic novel titled Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back: Infinities. I don't know if any of you are familiar with it, but it basically takes the entire glorious film that is Episode V and turns it inside out. The basic premise of this series is to take the Star Wars films, and apply "What If..." scenarios. For example, what if Luke had died on Hoth in the very beginning of Episode V? What if Leia had been the one to seek out Yoda and train with him on Dagobah? I instantly bought it because that's just a kick ass concept, to turn one of the greatest sci-fi tales of all time and turn it on it's ear.
So it made me think, why not do the same thing with the Friday The 13th saga? This thread is basically where you can come in and re-work situations from the 11 Friday films that you would personally enjoy. It's similar to the Ideal Friday The 13th Film thread, but the thing is, it can be nothing original. You have to work within the 11 films, with only the already invented saga characters.
For example: say that mine would be something like what it would be like if Jim Miller and Suzy Donaldson were the principle characters of Jason Takes Manhattan? What if they had accidentally awakened him, but jumped ship in time to reach Jim's car on the shore and went to get help, while Jason floats downstream and boards the Lazarus? Just be creative.
