He was the main character in 4, 5 and 6...then just vanishes without a mention. Has it ever been revealed what happened to him? Or why he was never brought back?

Yeah its a little funny. You'd figure cops would show up, clear up the bodies and such. And most law agencies would do something about the body at the bottom of the lake.

I'm guessing he just moved. Far away. Everytime he got a little stir crazy about Jason, his woman kept him in check.

I like to think that he made tons of babies with Megan, but that's me. I mean, I know that's what I would have done. :X

Anyway, it's never been revealed what happened to him, but Shannon and Swift did include a reference to him in their original FvJ script. Essentially, a bunch of executive guys for that new Crystal Lake Resort are sitting around discussing shit, and one of them mentions that Tommy has been lobbying against them building on the lake, and another guy calls Tommy a nutjob or something like that in response.

Also, I've always heard that Duke was supposed to be Tommy in the early planning for JGTH, but Paramount wouldn't let NLC use the character without paying.

Well I went through a mini-marathon of the movies this weekend (in anticipation of the new one) and it suddenly hit me, for the first time, "What the hell happened to him?" And I couldn't recall anyone in parts 7, 8, 9 or 10 mentioning him. The only thing I remember is reading somewhere (and I don't remember where) that Corey Feldman wanted to come back and play him.

Went to prison for contributing to the death of at least one person (Hawes). His negligence causes his death, and legally he would be partially liable for it.

In Tommy's mind, Jason is dead. He probably went far away, hallucinations free, and finally continued on with his life far from Crystal Lake. I'd like to see him come back though. It'd be easy to do. Jason was brought back from Freddy, news about Jason should be able to reach his ears quickly

Maybe he told the police that it was he who committed to murders, so that they would not know about the body in the lake.

He did every fucking drug there is, became the worlds greatest Michael Jackson wannabe, cleaned himself up in rehab, and now has a TV show with another dude from that era called Tommy.

Tommy the Grave-Robber. Hmmm, they could do a spin-off and just focus on Tommy digging up graves and letting loose all of the zombies:D

After Part VI he went underground. He and Megan broke up.

For a few years he drifted from city to city using different names. He also went under plastic surgery, and darkend his skin.
He became a bounty-hunter using the name Creighton Duke. Being obsessed with the dark and occult, and finding out Jason was still
alive he read about new ways to kill Jason in the books he bought at Karloff's General Store.. one of them with a magic dagger.

He was killed by Jason Voorhees.
