Who else is really excited about shark week?? I missed last years and I was dissapointed, but I've seen some trailers for some scary ass shows coming up. Here we can discuss past shark week's and discuss the upcoming week. :D

My family always goes on to the beach during shark week, which is kind of funny when you think about it. I can't say it really fazes me though, as I've always been fascinated with sharks. I'm looking forward to that show about the guy who's going to dive with an assload of sharks (I think it might be called Shark Man, but I'm not sure).

I used to love Shark Week but then it seemed to be the same show's every year. I know it's supposed to be all about sharks but it's like nothing but repeats and what they showed the previous years. I might catch this one or at least DVR it and kinda go through expecially since Discovery Channel is in HD now over here.

Anybody else catch the beginning of Shark Week? It was called Ocean of Fear...pretty crazy stuff. I'm going to enjoy sitting at home watching all this, this upcoming week :)

I saw a bit of that, and then I saw a little bit of the next program. Did you see that Greenland Shark? I had never seen that before, and I'm amazed that they're still finding new species of sharks pretty often. I'd guess there are possibly hundreds of unknown species just because the ocean is so freaking deep.

Nah I'm still watching Ocean of Fear. But yeah, I think the ocean is incredible. I think we should figure out ways to go into the deep ocean to find more species on earth, before space exploration.

Ah, I see you're on the west coast, so that would explain it.

I agree with you about the ocean and space travel. Although knowledge of both is important, I'm much more interested and intrigued by the ocean.

I'm a shark buff. Ergo, I'm a shark week fan. I've not really watched it regularly in a while, but I taped the program about the Indianapolis and I'm watching it tomorrow night. I'm going to try and catch a couple of other shows during shark week, if I can find the time. My DV-R is always recording something for either myself or my friends, so I kind of have to wedge the stuff in.

Damn, just thinking of the fact I can relax and watch this all week...I feel so amazing :D
ADDED:
I feel sorry for seals. They get pretty jacked by the Great Whites. :(

This sucks, Shark Week isn't on Dicovery HD! I was so ready to watch this again, but for whatever reason it has like a whole different programming schedule. It doesn't even have any of the "new" programs of this year's Shark Week. Which is stupid because it would have been awesome to see this in High Def.
