How do you want the new Friday to end?

Would you guys prefer an ending with no survivors?

Two survivors (protagonist and Jason)?

Protagonist losing his/her mind (like Chris in Part 3)?

I actually would like the first option, no survivors. I think it'd make for a very dark and bleak movie, IMO.

Really, I wouldn't mind a no survivors ending. I want Jason to be killed in a slow-mo shot and then a shock/surprise ending. A fade to white would be asking too much.

Great point! At this moment that would be my "dream" ending (and it obviously leaves the possibility for a sequel wide open)

I really hope we dont get a tacky happy ending like parts 6-9 and FVJ where both the male and female leads survive. Given that Nispel/Dunes quickly killed off the male lead in TCM Remake and gave us a disturbing ending for that film, Im not worried about a tacky ending.

The survivors all relieved that they suvived Jason's attacks. They lean against a wall and boom Jason comes out, the end.

I'd like to see the survivor some how causing Jason to drown again, then when all is clam Jason leaps out of the water to drag him/her down with them. Sort of like the ending of 1, but with an adult Jason and it not being a dream.

I want it to be, well, mixed. I want it to end in a way that if it's a failure you could say it ended well, but that if there's a sequel, you'll have something to work with. Just find a way to give it closure and leave it open.

I'd like to see Jason kill everyone-no escapees. Maybe show him cleaning up the evidence while drinking a beer and cursing at the disgusting mess he made.

It would just be nice to have the killer be the victor. We all cheer for Jason these days anyways cos after all he rid the world of perverts, drug addicts and disrespectful little shits.

Ending it in a way The Final Chapter ended would be tits- no hell, no demons, no Freddy, nothing epic. Something the entire theater can stand up and cheer on- the hero destroying Jason the way Tommy did.

I'd love to see Padalecki laying into Jason with a machete Tommy Jarvis-style, but Aja tried to do that in The Hills Have Eyes and the MPAA made him alter it because real humans shouldn't be allowed to brutally destroy the monster that's trying to murder their entire family. :duh:

If anyone survives I think it will be a boy... Since Jared Padalecki has been billed as the Star of the film. Plus in an interview he said that Clay is the hero of the movie, so I think He will live. Or maybe he will kill himself in order to kill Jason.

I hope Clay lives, or if not, then he kills himself killing Jason.

An ending that nods to the original (and first two sequels) would be nice; I suppose that calls for a "dream sequence", be it at the lake or at Jason's hideaway or a new location. But if so, it better be more obvious than Part Two... :p
