In this corner we have Batman, as portrayed by Christian Bale in the movie BATMAN BEGINS.
In this corner we have Daredevil, as portrayed by Ben Affleck in the movie DAREDEVIL.
Who do you guys think would win in a fight between these two. I'm not sure yet, so I'm going to see what you have to say first.
Talk to me folks.

Well.... to be honest, from what we saw in Daredevil the movie, Affleck character is very tough and can hold his own. Due to his impairment/advantage (however you want to see it), he can have the edge most of the time.
Batman now...well i'm bias towards Bale's Batman because I just love Batman Begins too much, but Batman does have his ninjitsu training etc. At the end of the day, if i had to choose someone to be the victor I would seriously say Daredevil would win

I see Bale's Batman using his stealth training to confuse DD. Also, he's Batman, he'd pick up on DD's radar sight and use it against him. All he'd have to do is create loud noises.

I was thinking that Geddy, but if it was a first encounter without Batman knowing of the radar sight, then DD would have him. But, if Batman figures it out, then DD is going down

I'm going to go with The Bat. He's crafty. Daredevil likes to have sex with girls in uncomfortable places...like the back of a Volkswagon.
Daredevil.
Because I like the character better.

Even if it was a first encounter, I see Bats figuring it out quickly. Also, this Batman doesn't fight right out in the open, he uses the shadows to his advantage.

I'd go with Batman. He'd figure out, sooner or later, than DD is blind and relies on a radar sense. Once that happens, he'll exploit it for a victory using a replica of the sonic device to summon the bats from all over Gotham. Straight up fighting, Batman knows more combat than Daredevil does. Afterall, Elektra did beat Murdock.

Shadows are useless against an opponent who isn't using his eyes to find you.

But, then again Daredevil wasn't going all out against Elektra. If I remember correctly, the fact that he didn't want to fight her hindered his performance. At the same time Elektra was trying to kill him. When one opponent is going all out and the other is holding back, things can get ugly.
Here, Daredevil has nothing holding him back. He's playing to win.
And, maybe Batman knows more forms of combat than Daredevil and maybe he doesn't (they don't really go into any details about Daredevil's training in the movie), but Daredevil is very good with what he does know. For one thing, he's demonstrated that he's just as capable of taking down multiple opponents as Batman is. So, I think Daredevil's skill can potentially help him to compensate for whatever advantage Batman has in formal training.

I meant Batman might try to get a feel for DD by staying quiet and in the shadows. Of course actually being in the shadows won't have an effect on DD's vision, but that's how Batman fights. Also, if he stays silent and just observes, he'd pick up on DD's radar sight.

I shocked the poll is as close as it is considering the fanboy-ism that swept the internet when Bale (well, Nolan) took over the Batman movie franchise and the fact that I remember most people not really caring for or downright hating Daredevil and/or Ben Affleck.
I think they'd be an even match, and the fight could go either way. I had a hard time with this choice. I wouldn't kick either man out of bed. As characters, they both have good and bad points. They both have that annoying "boo hoo, they killed my parent(s); vengeance is mine!" thing going on. Batman is rich, so he automatically sucks, and Daredevil is blind, so he also automatically sucks (I'm kidding here, so don't freak out). Jennifer Gardner is hotter than Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal combined, but she did a suck-ass sequel, so they all come out to about even.
I ended up voting for Daredevil because I personally liked that movie better than Begins. I may end up changing my vote after I see The Dark Knight, though.

The thing is that even if Batman tries to stay quiet, Daredevil could potentially detect his heartbeat and his breathing with his enhanced sense of hearing. If there's any ambient noise in the area it'll bounce off of Batman and possibly show Daredevil where he is. And, if Daredevil is actually looking for Batman, he can always make some noise if there isn't enough around to help him.
Batman's usual stealth tactics may not serve him as well against Daredevil.
I really like both characters. They both stand for justice. Just that one works outside the system and one is a part of it. I would (of course) go with Batman though because he is so complex and relatable. When you watch Batfilms or read the literature, you always find yourself saying at one point of another "you know, I know how he feels. If I were in that situation during the heat of the moment I would have done the same thing, but would I have lived to regret it?" He is just a an with imperfections (like the rest of us) who only does what he feels is right.

Technically, Matt Murdock also works outside of the system. Hence his being, you know, Daredevil. He tries to use the system to prove someone innocent, but he'll break laws to get the evidence for a conviction. Just like Batman does.
