well I'm clearly a big fan concidering I've seen them live 3 times, with Cinderella and Ratt opening, two amazing shows they put on, I was hoping to see them a third time this summer but they haven't added a Toronto date, and if they pull something like last year and put a Toronto date in at last minute I won't be albe to cause I'm already seeing 2 concerts this summer:( oh well

Open Up and Say Ahhh! was my first cassette when I was 6/7.
A lot of people dis Poison, but I'm not sure why. They were pretty pop-rock, but who gives a shit? Their lyrical content was similar to Motley Crue, they just weren't as disgusting. And as much as I like the badass rock groups, is raping a girl in a closet and killing your buddy in a drunk driving incident really something to be used to contribute to the "bad boy" image? Hey, I love the Crue, but I question the mentality of musicians sometimes.

I know about Vince Neil being charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI. He killed Razzle from Hanoi rocks while driving drunk. He also injured the two people in the car he hit. But what is that rape charge about?

One night, Nikki was banging some chick in a dark closet and he thought it'd be funny if he went and got Tommy to fuck her, pretending to be him. He was in there with her while Tommy fucked her and was talking to her so that she'd think it was him. It's not RAPE RAPE, but ya know.

Like Winger, I can't say I'm a huge fan of Poison. I'm more of a casual fan. I only own their greatest hits CD. I'm not sure if I really want to get any of their full length albums. I can only name (at the moment), four favorite Poison songs. Ride the Wind, Fallen Angel, Every Rose Has It's Thorn, and Look What the Cat Dragged In (pretty good riff on that one).
Edit: Speaking of Winger. I should really pick up a Winger CD. Either a Greatest Hits/Best of or their first album.

I, like most, prefer their first 3 albums, nothing after was incredible or nothing, mainly cause Richie Kotzen, though an incredible guitarist, is no C.C., Hollyweird was okay, and their covers album was actually pretty good, and I would like some new material from them sometime in the future...man I wanna see them live again

I am a big fan of Poison. I don't know why people give 'em so much shit. I mean, they are what they are, nothing more. Just a good 80s rock band.
Fave songs:
Nothin' But A Good Time
Something To Believe In
Fallen Angel
Every Rose Has It's Thorn
Look What the Cat Dragged In
Sexual Thing
Life Goes On
Lay Your Body Down
What I Like About You
So Tell Me Why
Unskinny Bop
Talk Dirty To Me
Ride the Wind
Stand

I've been listening to a lot of Bret Michaels' solo stuff recently. Some of those songs are pretty good too!
