I remember starting this thread on the old forum. It was interesting reading the responses.
I think he does have one...albeit dry and dark.

Of course he does, look at what he did to Jimbo, he hitchiker in Part 4, the paintballers and so on.
Yes, he aspired to be a stand-up comedian back before he got so sidetracked by the whole killer thing.

I certainly think he has a bit of a dark sense of humor, which also could stem from when he was a child and was probably subjected to cruel jokes. In his mind, his morbid sense of humor is another way of rubbing how pissed off he is in his victims' faces.

I think he does. He messes with the person to lure them into a false sense of security the he strikes.

Yep. He sets the bait for them to take and that's one way he gets his prey.

Jason probably thinks its funny.

I think he's too full of rage to take pleasure in his kills, but it's possible maybe once in a while he'll have fun with a few of them.

I think he has a sense of irony that comes out now and then.

There's also the scene where he takes his mask off in front of Chris in part 3. I always thought Jason was being kind of humorous there in a dark way.

From the very beginning he seems to have a morbid display of humor, like Mrs. Voorhees' head in the freezer, his smile at Chris, nailing Jimbo to the doorframe, etc. also whenever he hangs the bodies.

I think there could be a ceremonial aspect to Jason having had the corpses of his victims around Pamela's shrine, as offerings of sorts for her.
You know, it seems that he just might. Two scenes in JTM show that. The scene where he shows the hoods his face to scare them away and the scene where he reacts to the billboard show a humorous side of the character.

Someone posted a pic on the old board from part 2 from the scene where the cop is driving down a path and Jason shoots across the path like a deer. Someone made Jason saying "LOL" Anyone have that pic? Everytime I see that scene now, I laugh haha.
He definitely does have a sense of humour...I mean he's still got that child like mentality.

IMO I think Jason likes it when there is a victim in the woods he makes a sound and the person is like: "What the fuck as that?"
Not anymore. Even if Jason retains a sense of humor at this point, I don't think he would or will express it. I mean, comedy is sort of Freddy's thing. And I don't think he would show his humor in his kills. I honestly think Jason has become pretty much an unfeeling killing machine, by his own choice. The only feelings I ever feel he's truly shown are for his mother.

i think he has feelings because in jasonx when he hits a guy and the guy gets stabbed
on the screw he cocks his head like he is confused
^ I'd say it's arguable whether confusion can be considered a "feeling" - he's shown it before, but I don't really think it could be considered part of having feelings. By having feelings, I mean more so like Happiness, Humor, Joy. All Jason really shows is Anger and Confusion if you count it.

I think Jason's humor is present in the irony of some of his kills. I thought it was ironic that Jason chose to smash the pretty-faced guy's face in TFC. Also in TFC, the irony of stabbing the guy (who was looking for the corkscrew) in the hand with said corkscrew is too much to dismiss. Its almost as if Jason "handed" him the corkscrew before offing him with the cleaver to the face. In JL, Jason chose to stab the guy in the ear after he turned up the RV radio's volume. In JTM, the irony in drowning Charles (given that Jason witnessed Renny nearly drowning during the swimming lesson) is pretty obvious. Killing the thug with the syringe after he forcefully used it on Renny also comes to mind. Finally, I was always under the impression that Jason laughed after seeing Julius' head land in the dumpster.
