It looks like this is going to happen.
I really enjoyed the first one.
I wasn't glitzy or full of quick cuts.
It reminded me of a really good 80's slasher with a decent plot.

Now if we could just get that Dog Soldiers sequel in theaters!!?:pull::brow:

I bought the first one and watched it. I promptly sold it to the local pawnshop. I guess I didn't see the big deal with it. People were talking like it was awesome and I just thought it was boring. I'll give the sequel a chance, but I won't with high expectations.

I actually saw this having no idea what it was. Never saw a trailer, never even saw a poster. The movie my girlfriend of the time and I were going to see was sold out, so I just looked up at the screen and eeny-meeny-miney-mo'ed it. It wasn't a bad flick at all. I agree, they really captured the essence of an 80's horror flick.

I'll definitely see the second.

Honestly, I wasn't crazy about the first film. I caught it on the Chiller channel last year and actually gave it a second chance (I may have even bought it at one point when I was spending stupid money on movies online). What the hell, I'll probably give this shit a chance too.
