I demand more coverage on Resident Evil 5. The 1 minute teaser was nice, but I want a full blown trailer.

And I wonder what's going on in the land of Final Fantasy XIII? I'll have to look that up later.

Nintendo's press conference was kinda lame, yes everyone knows that the Wii is the current gaming fad but did they really have to devote so much of their time to "We're the best!" clips from the press?

Microsoft's presser rocked but with games like Halo 3 and Mass Effect releasing in the coming months they've could've just shown everyone a couple coming soon boxes to still be successful in my book.

God knows they havn't made a MEtal Gear GAME since the NES. They've all been cutscenes with the occasional 6 seconds of game.

Extra plot means no game? What versions have you been playing? I got a whole load of superb gaming action.

Anyway, despite the awesomeness of the trailer, there's another Sony announcement that reduces the impact. Sony categorically announced that PAL regions would get no price cut.
So, while the PS3 costs $499 in the US, in the UK, it is around $850. Smart there, Sony. Very smart. That'll make people buy your console.

Here's what I posted on the old temp board. I still think Sony had the best show. Also watching G4 tonight on they're "wrap up" episode of E3, and pretty much EVERYONE agreed that Sony had the best showings compared to Nintendo and Microsoft.

I've been reading IGN, also I DVR'd all the episodes that are on G4. Just got done watching the Nintendo and Sony confrences. And just WOW

I like the new Wii Zapper and that it's for the new RE game.
Killzone 2 looks AMAZING
MGS4 looks good, dissapointed it's postponed even FURTHER!
Assasins Creed looks amazing and now trying to decide which system to get it for. More then likely 360, but I don't know. Maybe I'll go with the PS3 version this time. After player Ninja Gaiden Sigma and getting into a game WITHOUT achievements again, I think I can pass a multi-platform game on the 360 for the PS3 if they're virtually equal, just so I actually get to play the PS3 some more.
Madden 08 is looking awesome and if it's true that EA has partnered with Xbox Live for a better online experiance then I'll have to just give in and defitnitely get it.

I have to admit, I'm kinda excited for Warhawk & Socom being download games instead of disc. If it cuts out load times then I'm for it.
Uncharted looks pretty interesting as does Heavenly Sword.
Nintendo just really sold me more with the Zapper. That I would enjoy for FPS games. I wouldn't get like COD4 or some other major FPS on the Wii just for the Zapper. I'll still stick with 360 due to Live and that's where my friends are. But for like RE, those Sega old-school light gun games, sure i'll be all over that..
The other Nintendo games are just eh for me. THey're there, nothing that I would just have to have to get.

IMO, Sony had the best show confrence. I even thought they we're going to steal the show this year as they were really the one's that had something to prove being the slow start they've had.

Microsoft wasn't all that impressive. Sure it had Halo, but I played the Beta, it's already a purchase for me. GTA4, eh. Never been big on those games except Vice City but still. Got stuck one time, never could pass it and then just gave up. The DLC movies don't interest me. Some of the Live Arcade games look ok, dissapointed they didn't show Super Street Fighter HD (maybe it's at a booth and will be on one of the day 1, 2, 3, shows?)
I'm really not interested in Mass Effect due to being an RPG and I just can't get into those games. So they didn't really have anything that we didn't already know.

Nintendo, like I said the Zapper was really cool. The other stuff I wouldn't really care about but I know my kids will like it so that will be something I'll get for them mainly. BUt that has sold me on getting a Wii. Maybe not right right away, but probably by the end of the year or next year I will get one.

I might even get the new PSP just cause. I already have one so just depends if I can sell it and get a decent price for it to get like the white PSP.

I don't know about Home. I'm hoping it's not something you have to pay cash to build up your house and stuff. If it's something like that I will not be doing that. That seems like a scary addiction to be honest, especially paying real money for something virtual just to "show off", I dont think so. Not for me at least.

I read on the xbox site that there was supposed to be a Dead Rising 2 trailer? I think it may have been false. But if there was a DR 2 I would go nuts. I was in Hawaii during the whole E3 thing so I'm not positive what was covered and I have yet to go on the marketplace. Maybe I'll go on later tonight.

I'm still curious if Dead Rising 2 is going multiplatform, or have they opted to stick with the 360?
