MacGyver wakes up and finds himself in one of Jigsaws trap houses. Mac had been investigating the infamous Jigsaw since an old classmate was killed in one of the psychopath's maniacal traps. Now, Mac finds himself strapped into a deadly device, with the clock ticking. If he makes it out, he still has to go through a house full of traps and puzzles to get to the final room where Jigsaw waits.

What is the outcome?

For those of you youngins, MacGyver was a show about a bad ass genius who was quick thinking and amazingly resourceful. He is a tech wiz, and can figure things out very quickly.

He'd break out using only a roll of toilet paper and a strand of his hair. That's just what he does. :p

As much as I dig Jigsaw, MacGyver displays even more intelligence and a definite will to live. Unless he's placed in an unwinnable trap, I think MacGyver would win.

I had to vote for MacGyver. If you want reasons, just read Jigsaw's.

MacGyver all the way. He's a bonafide genius. He'd be an awesome contrast to Jigsaw's traps since he's a master of getting out of sticky situation.
PS
MacGyver is one of the sweetest shows ever.

Make this into a movie and have MacGyver's arch-enemy Murdoc teamed up with Jigsaw and this would be awesome!!

Seeing Jigsaw would capture him the way he usually does, it'd be Jigsaw EASILY. MacGyver would have NOTHING to use to escape, he'd have absolutely nothing but his clothes and the trap. Jigsaw wouldn't be stupid enough to give Macgyver tools to use. There'd be no way Macgyver would get out unless he PASSED the test.

If he was placed in the trap, without any tools, I think he'd be fucked. Jigsaw would never give Macgyver tools in an unwinnable trap, and since Macgyver would be abducted like the others he'd not be able to bring any with him.
Macgyver always needed tools to get out of "sticky" situations, or at least access to things to use as tools.

Exactly. Mac would have his clothes AND the trap. He'd so get out of it.

Ah Ha!! You never seen that one episode of MacGyver where Mac was tied down on a wooden table, with his arms and legs completely tied down, with a pendelin blade swinging back and forth getting closer and closer to splitting open his stomach. All he needed was one perfect toss of his boot to shut down the swinging blade just inches from his stomach!!
Another MacGyver classic escape!!!! :p

Okay, but that was pure luck haha.
An inescapable trap would be much more intricate, I am sure.

I'd doubt that. All it would take would be an inescapabe trap, that couldn't be tricked. He'd be fucked...
Like, an open room, completely bare, only ways of exit are rigged with explosives rigged from the outside- he'd die of starvation, or be exploded to bits.

I dont think Jigsaw makes unescapable traps. He likes putting the fate of the person in their own hands. If he put them in an unwinnable situation he would just be killing them.

An inescapable trap would be out of character for Jigsaw, methinks. He wants people to live dere.

That's true, but what if MacGyver was THE trap- he was the one who would have to be sacrificed in order for someone else to live.

Maybe MacGuyver will inexplicably become a new apprentice... not any less believable than some of the predictions people have been making. :p
