I have a feeling that TCM is going to win the hearts and minds in this poll due to all the bashing that Zombie's remake has recieved in other threads. However, Halloween gets my vote.

I gave TCM a 4/10 (C-) and Halloween a 6/10 (C+).

TCM '03 entertained but I forgot about it 5 minutes later and I hated Halloween '07. Guess I'll go with the Chainsaw remake.

TCM '03. I thought it was one of the better remakes. I hate Halloween '07 with a passion.

TCM '03. Why? Because it was actually good! One of the best remakes I've seen.
Can't say the same for the useless Halloween remake though.

TCM 03 was better photographed, directed and written. It also had a better feel.

Jessica Biel wet the whole movie trumps anything Zombieween had to offer. Chainsaw, by a landslide.

The thing is Chainsaw's feel was a lot closer to the original's and it stuck more in tone with the mood and concept of it's original. At one point in Halloween, we see Loomis delivering Michael friggen xmas presents! I was like "what the f*ck!" when I was watching that. I was like "this is not Halloween."

That is why I went with Chainsaw, though it was not as good as the original, at least I felt like I was watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and not some other movie, which is more then I can say for "Halloween" (and I use that title very loosely)>

TCM03 was a better movie. Halloween07 did things it shouldn't have done. Halloween07 wasn't good. TCM03 was great; scary, suspensful, violent, good story.

I don't really like either film but, IMO, TCM '03 kicks the shit out of Zombieween.

Halloween. Each viewing I like it more and more. To be honest the movie went from maybe making my top 100 to than making my top 75, to now top 50 with a chance for my top 25. (the original will always be ahead of it though).

TCM was pretty good overall. Looked too polished and Hollywood, but a good movie. IMO it was good nothing less, nothing more.

If this was the night after Halloween opened up, I would have voted for Halloween. But the more and more I sat up and thought about the movie I realized I was just geeked to see Michael Myers on the big screen again, and in reality how terrible of a movie it really was.

So I voted for TCM because to be honest, aside from the last half an hour of the movie the remake wasn't really all that bad.

I voted the Halloween remake. The Halloween remake takes a look behind the years Michael spent in the asylum all the way up to when he escaped.

I enjoyed the TCM remake a lot, so it gets my vote. RZ's Halloween is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
