I've got a question and maybe you people can help. I have a few cassette tapes from the 80's and 90's, which I used to listen to a lot back in the day. But I've found that I cannot trust tape players these days. I've lost a few tapes that had stuff dubbed on to them. Now, a few were pretty old, so that's understandable. But some were not that old and in good condition. I've found that it doesn't matter what brand or how new, I'm losing tapes. I have not lost the major ones yet. But the odds on finding the CD's are too high and my only other option seems to be file sharing. But, is it possible to take stuff on cassette and somehow burn it to CD? Has there been a technology? I mean, we've done CD to cassette and LP to cassette. What about cassette to CD? Or am I fucked?

I have a bootload of cassettes I'd kill to have copied to CD some way. As soon as they develop something like that I'm on it.
